Sadly, all this christmas spirit and tradition seems to have been lost as time went by... Since Prince Rainier passed away, the Grimaldi siblings seem distant from each other, from there country and their family traditions, wich is a pity, because, after all, there's a all new generation ( the Casiraghi's, the Ducuruet's... ) who could benefit from all these and in the long run bring a new dimension to such traditions and new life to the principatity

These are from 1970. I hope I am not posting a lot of repeats, especially from the seventies thread. I am trying to put my collection of Christmas pictures in this thread...
It is interesting that in the last one, she is said to being bored with that event . There was one about the circus where the caption said the same thing, adding that she was sulking because she had been forbidden from spending time with some boyfriend. Sure, teenagers sulk, but I think her sense of duty overtook those feelings, and certainly, in both events, she always showed the utmost graciousness. All it takes is one pensive expression and it is labeled boredom, sulking or repressed anger. How silly...
