I see that Dom Duarte also received a copy of Mr. Finney . Good to see that he was there. The presentation was at the Gulbenkian institute in Lisbon btw.

Princess Laurentien released 3 sturgeon fish in the Nieuwe Maas near the Zalmhuys in Rotterdam today.
The release of the 3 fish by the Princess is part of the campaign of the WWF and ARK to trytto get the sturgeon back in the Dutch rivers.

Prince Constantijn has attended the opening of the Academic Year at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam today, September 3, 2012.

Princess Laurentien attended the presentation of the NCDO-children barometer at the Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam today, September 7, 2012. Laurentien talked with children about the future of the earth and their confidence in the future, one's own behavior and the importance of taking responsibility.

Princess Laurentien has attended the science dinner and the Eureka award ceremony at the Museon in Den Haag today, October 1, 2012.

Princess Laurentien has officially opened the library at the energy efficient building the Boekenberg in Spijkenisse today, October 4.
The stacked building has a 26 meter glass pyramid in which the designer, Winy Maas, has created a mountain of books.
A bird of prey brought the key to open the library.

Princess Laurentien as President of the European Cultural Foundation has given an opening speech at the foundation's event "Imagining Europe" in Amsterdam yesterday, October 4, 2012. The event takes place from October 4-7.

Princess Laurentien attended the Sustainability Day (Dag van de Duurzaamheid), an initiative of Urgenda, at the De Wilgenstam school in Rotterdam today, October 10. Former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Jan Peter Balkenende attended the event as well.

On October 9, Princess Laurentien has visited the Rainbow school in Reeuwijk to read from her book and to give a workshop on sustainability issues and on working on the quality of life. The school has kindly provided a large number of great pics of the day:

Princess Laurentien has been in Poland for a couple of days.


On October 24 she visited the Warsaw School of Economics and gave a speech on "Climate as a new priority for CSR strategy".
