Aiko's outfit

I just want to remind you of this very nice site.
http://www.dai2ntv.jp/common/misc/kochi2/nikoniko/index.html

The latest film we can find there presently is princess Kiko with her children, watching the exhibition: "Empress and her children". And the one before is Aiko with her parents. One can see that lil´ Aiko is preparing to be a big girl soon by losing some of her first teeth... ;)

Thanks for the video. She's adorable than ever!! and I like the way they (or her mom) dressed her. It has many nice cut and color, subdued but good quality, enough to suggest that she's a royal. Altough I'm hoping for more variations, maybe the closest to fashionable as with the designs of Oshkosh, Gap, or something... And I hope when she'll enter Mako & Kako's age, she or Masako will impose enough control not to dressed the same kinds of outfit as them. No offence to MaKako, I adore them as always, just not the clothes these past few days...:nonono:

Btw, that puppy on her lap is Yuri, right?

Well, when I posted it in autumn, there was another video in front, so, although you may not be aware of it, it is actually you who posted it this time ;), as now probably many will look again at this site and so discover the video of Aiko and her parents that is now in front. And yep, that is Yuri. :) And I absolutely agree concerning the outfits of the young Princesses Akishino. I think them very, very nice g.irls, and I just wish their mother would dress them more like she dressed herself when she was their age – which was also elegant and ladylike but more fitted for a teenager or a young woman.

Just because they are imperial princesses they should not be obliged to put on clothing that a sixty-year old woman could wear without raising the smallest surprise. :nonono:

But I have hopes that Aiko will not suffer the same fate. :) One rarely sees them but I think that the young Princesses Takamado are dressed prettily and elegantly at the same time, in as attractive a way as young g.irls, royal or commoner, should always be.

And Princess Masako is known to be very good friends with their mother… ;)

Aww, that video's adorable! :D He's growing up so fast though!!! It feels like his second birthday was just yesterday! Thank you so much for sharing those lovely pictures and video, namiey! :flowers:

I have always loved the looks of the Japanese people, and this little boy is extremely cute and likeable ! He looks so happy !

Ah, my goodness, what a pretty child is Prince Hisahito ! And, Rominet09, these are also my words: "I have always loved the looks of the Japanese people". Yes, indeed. :)

Wow...three years have flown by!

I must say, he is a cute child...based on his pictures.....looks like he has a nice little personality.

Is a pretty boy, with a lot of both parents in him. Seems to he he will be pretty tall...

Hisahito is indeed a very pretty and lively child. :)
He seems to be well-behaved and polite as well.

He is cute as a button as they say and I agree the three years went by so fast.

Indeed he is! I love him dressed in the traditional robe. It also appears they are letting his hair grow long just like his father's.

OMG, little prince is so lovely child. I can't believe he is already 3. He seems very joyful child. He looked cute in traditional outfit. I think he looks more like Pss Kiko.

Prince Hisahito is indeed going to be a heart breaker when he's older!

Prince Hisahito is very cute little boy.:p It's hard to beleive he's already three years old.:flowers:

Young Prince Hisahito Birthday News Report

I never post, but frequently visit the site to view updates on Princess Kiko.

I found a small clip on youtube of a news report on Prince Hisahito's 3rd birthday. It is in Japanese and hasn't been translated, but it shows very cute interactions between Prince Hisahito running to his mother Princess Kiko and a small clip of Prince Hisahito running to his father Prince Akhishino.

What a wonderful video, thank you Muhsina! :flowers:

Hisahito seems to be such a lively boy, I loved the bit when he got off his tricycle and ran towards the photographers: reminded me of Infanta Leonor during Infanta Sofia's presentation.
And of course, the scenes where he first runs to Kiko and then to Prince Akishino, were simply adorable: it is quite obvious his parents dot on him.

I just wish Mako and Kako were included in the footage as well.

Thanks for sharing video!
Prince Hisahito is a precious little boy, who enjoys himself by riding tricycle similar to any other child of his age. At the same time, I agree with Marsel noting that it is unfortunate that Princess Mako and Princess Kako were not included in the footage.

Oh what a cutie!
He grew 6cm in one year! I wonder if he'll be tall like his dad.
thank you for posting it.

Thank you for the video. It is so beautiful to see sweet Prince Hisahito running into the arms of his mother and his father!:)

I can't believe that cute little boy will have a great responsibility to be put on him as he is the only successor of the imperial throne after his uncle and his father. May God help him.

Indeed, may God help him and give him strenghts to fulfill his duties.
By now, all we can do is be admired: he seems to be a very happy boy, and a very tall one!!

What an exciting time it will be for Prince Hisahito when he starts school. He'll be meeting other children and learning new and exciting things!

hey, I heard Princess Mako has been accepted to International Christian University in Tokyo, or.. Chiba, I forgot in the department of liberal arts. It said she will attend next year after highschool graduation followed by holiday. I'd like to attach something, but yahoo news for english sources has deteriorated. But I'll look some more!

plus, the latest is JRF (Emperor&Empress, Naruhito&Masako, Akishino&the whole family, including Hisahito) visit to natural park named Children's Land (Kodomo no Kuni) on 21 December 09. They're doing several activities there, like feeding the calfs, ride on mini-train, ect. here's links to the pictures:
