Hello, Amaterasu! I'm happy we may finally have a Japanese member in this board! And I also likes your future Emperor.

Yes, Prince Hisahito is a very sweet boy.

By the way, is that one of his sisters in the left corner of the picture?

Thank you for your warm welcoming message.

Prince Hisahito is really a happy baby to be congratulated by so many kind people from all around the world in this board.

I feel Prince Hisahito resembles his granduncle Prince Hitachi.

Here are more photos.

With his sisters, Princesses Mako, in a gray coat, and Kako, in a white one.

I found a video of Prince Hisahito's first visit to the shrine in the Imperial Palace. This video also contains other princes' and princesses' first visits to the shrine when they were new-born babies: Prince Naruhito, Prince Fumihito, Princess Mako, Princess Kako, and Princess Aiko, in order of appearance.

Indeed, Prince Akishino's family is wonderful. In Japan they are so highly esteemed as one of the best ideal families that there are several fan sites for them. The gentle and reliable father, the elegant and intelligent mother, the bright and dutiful daughters... and now the little saviour's cute face made it perfect.

I'm happy to hear that. They really are a nice family group. The girls are adorable.

I didn't know that Prince Akishino and his family had several fan's websites...Thank you for the info, Amaterasu. It's always good to hear news from a person who currently lives in Japan and that could see the national reality with no-foreign eyes.

Vanesa.

Do the girls ever smile? They look so unhappy. This is the "model" Japanese family?

They do smile. It is a pity that you have missed their biggest smiles on September 6 last year. This is a photo taken when they came to see their brother at the hospital for the first time. The two Princesses of Akishino smile so naturally both before and after his birth.

Usually Princess Mako smiles modestly and Princess Kako does cheerfully. These are taken on their graduation days this month.

They are loved so much by their parents and the people. Who on earth would be unhappy to have an heir brother? It's a great joy.
