Correction: the Imperial car caused the rear-end, not the other way around. It bumped into the car ahead (driven by a 50-year-old man), stopped during a traffic jam.

The Emperor, Empress, and CP family have a leading motorcycle and following security vehicle whenever they go out. Traffic signals are also changed to green to avoid being stuck in traffic. Other households, including the Akishinos, only have a following police car and no traffic signal changes.

On the occasion of Prince Akishino's 51st birthday (November 30), some new family photos taken on November 12, were released today:

** Pic 1 ** Pic 2 **

I find the family photos odd. The focus is on his son and not on him. Having his son in the Center and not just the camera but everyone in the photograph looking at his son, I would be confused whose birthday it was if I hadn't read the post.
