Japanese emperor’s two sons almost never speak

TOKYO - Japanese Prince Akishino has said he seldom talks to his brother Crown Prince Naruhito, indicating a possible continued rift in the royal family over the status of stressed Crown Princess Masako.
Akishino surprised Japan last year by openly criticizing his elder brother for airing his concerns about how the palace has treated his wife Masako, who shies away from most public appearances due to stress.
“Regarding communication with the crown prince, we are not visiting the crown prince’s household actively from our side ... since the crown princess is sometimes feeling good and sometimes not,” Akishino said............

Why are preparations for a nursery beginning now? She's only 6 weeks along- I don't want to wish anything but the best for her and the new baby but isn't that soon? And she's already scaling back on her official duties- is that because she's an older mother-to-be?

I wondered, is there any information about Princess Kiko available online? What causes does she support for example? From what kind of family is she? Is she, like Masako, prohibited to see her own parents on a regular basis as well? Is it known if she had any problems adjusting to life inside the palace?

She seems to be a charming lady btw, and always looks perfect, no hair out of order ;)
