Our National Budget misses 2 milliards euros and we are only in March.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs did not attend this economic mission.

On the second day of the mission Princess Astrid attended a decoration ceremony and met with Indonesian Vice-President Jusuf Kalla in Jakarta. A Belgian food and gastronomy event with show cooking "Best of Belgium" was also part of the programme today.

I think those missions are a pretty good task for her!

One of the highlights of day 4 was the inauguration of a Princess Astrid's street at the Bogor Botanical Gardens ;)

Prior to the upcoming journey to Texas Princess Astrid and members of the delegation attended a briefing of the Belgian economic mission in Brussels today, November 23.

Pics of day 3: Princess Astrid visited Dell Emc company, attended the Diamond Power Session, in cooperation with the Southern Jewelers Guild, as well as a signing ceremony at a networking reception offered by TexasOne, and she had a meeting and dinner with Texas governor Greg Abbott at the Texas Governor Mansion:

Day 4 of the mission: Princess Astrid and the delegation visited Alamo, participated in a meeting at the San Antonio International Centre and made a visit to Cinemark. In the evening they were invited to a boat trip on the banks of the San Antonio river.

It is odd to read about Princess Astrid's values. Her family is forever marred by atrocities in Congo.
 
I suppose we can not hold her responsible what her great-great-great-uncle did. I also do not believe that it was the princess decision not to go. This would by decided by the responsible minister.

Princess Astrid wasn't even born when the Congo became independent from Belgium. It is totally unfair to blame her for what her ancestors did.
 
What a nice honour for Princess Astrid,the best travelled member of the Belgian Royal Family!
 
She has a spontaneously smile , or no smile at all when she is to gether with the King and the Queen !
 
Belgian Meat, Chocolate and Beer are promoted. They had a huge Barbecue ! The Princess helped to turn the meat !
But a glass of Belgian Beer is 12 euros in Seoul , too expensive for young people said a Seoul 's Barman .
