On day 2, November 24, Princess Astrid visited Cenviro Waste Treatment Plant, attended the openings and closing cocktail of several seminars and attended the opening of the new office of SWIFT.

On day 4, November 26, Princess Astrid and the delegation arrived in Singapore, attended seminars, met with the Minister of Health, visited GSK (GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals) and attended the Antwerp Diamond Night Dinner.

Today, November 27, Princess Astrid met with Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong.

On the final day in Singapore and last day of the mission, November 28, Princess Astrid and the delegation visited the Gardens by the Bay and the Jurong Island Westward Expansion Project by DEME.

Due to financial reasons the number of economc missions will be reduced from 2015 on. Instead of four missions only two missions per year will be organized:

I hope despite there being less missions in the future we will still get to see as much if not more of Astrid next year.

From March 21st to March 27th Princess Astrid will be on an economic mission to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
