The event was intended to increase the network of global malaria champions by bringing together new and unique

As part of her commitment in the fight against malaria Princess Astrid has visited the Faculty of Medicine of the "Faculties Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix de Namur" on the occasion of its 50th anniversary on November 17, 2012.
She attended an academic conference and the presentation of an honorary doctorate to Dr. Joe Cohen.

As Special Representative of the "Roll Back Malaria (RBM)" partnership Princess Astrid is in Abu Dhabi from May 4th to May 6th. Prince Lorenz is accompanying her. Yesterday, May 5, they attended the opening of the UN-associated photo exhibition "Malaria : Blood, Sweat and Tears".
