Is he popular with the Belgian/European girls around his age? I know if I said to my friends, "What do you think about Prince Amedeo?" I would get a bunch of blank looks. I think he'd make a girl very happy one day; he seems like such a friendly guy.

Since he's HRH Prince Amedeo, would his future wife also be a HRH and their kids? Just curious....:)

And does/will Amedeo receive an allowance from the state?

I will answer you since my apreciation...
1.- I don't know how popular is he in Belgium, but here, in Spain, he's not. A few lines in a magazine when he made photoshoots and anything else. And If I say to my friends "What do you think about Prince Amedeo?" they will say me "About who?"
2.- I don't know about his future wife but his kids will be His or Her Imperial and Royal Highness with titles of Prince Imperial and Archduke of Austria-Este, Prince Royal de Boheme and Hungary and Prince of Belgium.

I'm from Belgium and I know that he is not so popular here in Belgium. Most girls don't really know who he is, they probably know his name but they are mostly not interested in him. Only royalty fans like myself do know Amedeo(and I like him very much). I think a lot of royalty fans in Belgium are older women and they more like princess Mathilde.

I think in general the Royal family of Belgian isn't 'hot' among the young people. They aren't cool enough. That's the difference I think with other countries where you can say the youngest generation is cool. And also because Astrid and Lorenz have protected their children from the spotlight as much as possible. So he isn't much known.

As far as I know, he born in Brussels, but was raised until he was about 7 years old in Bassel (Switzeland) then he went to Brussels where he live until he was 15. At his 15 years old he moved to Kent (UK) and at 18 he returned for a year to Brussels. Now he is living in London.
