i thought Alexandra looked sad at her grandma's funeral...she had her head constantly bowed...she reminded me of Violet from "the Incredibles' that day...

i can imagine the whole family as tired, shocked, and sad b/c they have that combined look about them. one thing i did notice about girls in alex's generation is the fact that they all dress alike. i stopped and looked at my sister and she has this a-lined/streamlined style of dress about her clothes with minimum makeup. and yes, i did notice that she was wearing makeup on the b'day and national day pics.

for most funerals, it's usually wear black, occasionally white. i've never heard of otherwise. but i have noticed in europe, most royal men usually wear morning suits if not military uniforms and certain orders.

by same suits, do you mean the morning suits that louis, felix, and jean, jr and some of the other guests had on? if so, then that could've been j-c's preference or a request from the family. but as a general rule, for funerals, the only rules that apply are one should be solemn as it is a solemn occasion and one should wear black or white. the cuts and designs of the individual suits ppl wear shouldn't matter, seeing as the only ppl that usually wear matching suits at a funeral are military personel, and the ppl that work for the funeral home/morturary or are there representing an organization that the person was involved with, unless the deceased or the family of the deceased request otherwise which could cause problems.
