I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask this question but here it is.
If Guillaum ever becomes the Grand Duke before having a child,
though I doubt it will happen, does Felix automatically become the Hereditary Grand Duke?
 
I don't think one gets to be called Hereditary Grand Duke/Duchess until the title is specially given to them by the reigning monarch. So Felix wouldn't become the Hereditary Grand Duke automatically. I'm not positive on this, though, so correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Has Felix got any chance to became a grand duke of luxembourg?
 
the only way for Felix to become Grand Duke of Luxembourg would to be if Guillaume never got married and had no children. Then Felix would have a chance considering he is Number 2 in line right now. But if Guillaume gets married and has children the Felix's chances will be very slim
 
Does anyone know if Felix would become grand duke if Guillaume only had daughters or would it allow for a female ruler of luxembourg?
 
It is to my knowledge that if Guillaume only had daughters that they could inherit the throne much like Guillaume's great grandmother did (GD Charlotte) her father had 6 daughters and no sons and there was an amendment to the succession laws then. I do not know if that would still be in place since GD Henri had so many sons. So I'm not sure that Felix may or may not inherit the throne

Thank you kyansaunt. As a female myself I would hope that if Guillaume were to only have daughters they would be given the same opportunity as GD Charlotte was. Though you bring up an interesting point regarding the fact that GD Henri does have so many sons.
 
So, in case that Guillaume succeeds before having a child, it's more likely to be that the place of HGD will be empty?
I thought most royalties have rules for the official place of heir-to-the-throne to be always occupied.
 
no the place of HGD will not be empty it will be occupied by Felix but I do not think that he will have that title of HGD......I'm not sure what it would be though

yeah but. i'm not really sure....i'm going to research it and make sure that I'm right.....sometimes I get confused but I think the royal succession laws don't make a lot of since because of amendments and such but I will look into it and see what I can find

I think it will be in Cabasson, in France.
They have there own place there, and most of the time also other members of teh Family as Grand-Duc JEAN, Marie-Astrid and Margaretha with there Family's enjoy them.

Prince Felix of the Luxembourg was yesterday at the final route of the "Tour de France 08". He delivery the "White Jersey" to the Luxembourg Andy Schleck as he is the Tour de France´s best young on this year.

Wonderful Pictures!!!!!!!! Felix looks great! I guess he is working for the Sports Association of Luxembourg since he is there!
 
I swear that tie he's wearing is going to walk out on him if he doesn't give it a little rest...Seems like he wears it to every photographed event!

He said something like he surely speaks for his parents and for the people of Luxembourg that it is wonderful to see 3 luxembourg athlets
on top of the winning pedestal and that he just had a call with his parents to tell them about the results. He added that it couldn´t have been better for Luxembourg.

For some reason, I feel like he's getting less attractive. Why???
 
He is?!? I think he's getting better...I like it when his hair is cut short though like I saw this montage of him on Youtube....All I can say is Wow. Why do you feel he's getting less attractive?

I think he looks great and attractive also. And he keeps slicking his hair back while he participates in formal events only.
 
Yeah, maybe it is the hair. But I liked him back in his late teens to like 20, cuz he was so lanky and hot. It's probably just because I'm still in my teens but I just feel like he's aging real quick.
