Default Guillaume`s personality

We know that Guillaume is shy and secretive. We dont know if he is kind or arrogant, strong or weak. We cant know for sure but what do you think about Guillaume`s personality?

That's the question I would like to ask you about Since you are from Luxembourg while most of us are out of space..I mean still in the space but out of the area. Have you met him personally?

He looks normal..quite difficult to judge him from the picture and we barely see im in the magazines only for royal function. Since we only see him in that kind of function we might think he may be quite selective to choose his friend..he may judge his friend only based by their background. The tone he speaks just like a normal guy. If they say he's gay, from the way he speak, he never show any hint that he might not be straight He looks like very proud from what he's coming from, well behave as usual and very responsible person. Felix, from the pic, he seems to be relax, romantic, very near to all his younger brothers and sister (compare to Guillaume), mischevious as a second son in the family, less responsibility but I think he might be a short temper person.

Seriously, I really dont know how to judge people just by seeing him in the pics. But my colleague has that ability to read somebody's face. Since we are the headhunters, we need to make quick judgement about people to select them for our clients. But for me, I can only know them better by speaking to them. I do heard that Prince William is a very demanding, rough just like his grandad but also laidback just like his father. He seems to be perfect to me..so never judge person by its cover

You said that Felix is relaxed and near brothers sister unlike Guillaume. Guillaume is closed person and has a lot of fears i think. Its not who are you . it depends who are you by personality. William Wales and Felix are also princes and which is more W Wales will become King of Great Britain one day. Guillaume seems to be not down to earth. Arrogant people speak only with people with title or background. We saw him around people. But do you think does he like it? very unlikely... Do you think that Guillaume is arrogant?

zembla: He did speak in one function. I like his voice. Not so 'manly' like William or Harry..but normal and sweet as a guy.

ellean: I dont have any clue whether to say he may be an arrogant person. I dont think so.. He seems to be a reserve person but look forward to be a grand duke of his country. The way he choose his mrs right explained that he seems not to take the title -that he will inherit in the future- for granted which I think its good..of course we never know who he may end up with one day? Felix looks more like a rock star than a royal to me, just like Pierre Casiraghi...

I think also that he is mother`s boy. what do you think about it?here on the royal forum i found few pictures with him and GD Maria Teresa. Its not bad. But what do you think? Can it be part of his personality? For example he will have consultations with his mother when marrried not with his wife if he is this kind of boy.

Guillaume and Felix seem to have very different personalities. i have never met them but you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their picture. Guillaume seems more outgoing whereas Felix seems to be more shy! I think that whoever these boys end up with the girl will be very lucky! But they are also more private than some of the other royals in the world. Which is a very good thing!

I donīt know if he is a motherīs boy. However, I noticed that the family is very close! I think that they are very important for him. It is difficult to say something about his personality as I donīt know him. But I think he is shy in public and a bit retiring...

Maybe he just has more pressure because he is in a high position...William and Harry can act out alittle more for their age...

I think we might be going off track a little but to comment on zembla's comparison about William and Harry being able to act out a little. One huge difference with William and Harry compared to Guillaume and also Victoria of Sweden is the fact that they are the immediate next in line. In Britain, Prince Charles is the immediate next in line. William and Harry are the grandkids of the current queen meaning that despite their age, their place is more comparable to Catharina-Amalia and Christian(the grandchildren of the current monarchs in their respective countries). See the difference. Possibly no one else sees it but to me that is a bit of a difference. Guillaume and Victoria despite their ages and their marital status can be compared to Haakon, Willem-Alexander, etc. So to me this means that Guillaume must be more reserved and behaved and not act out which is exactly as it should be.

I also seem to get a sense with this RF that there is a stricter line to follow, can anyone else comment on that? I also get the sense that they don't necessarily want to be in magazines and newspapers. They all seem very serious to me. Not in a bad way though or a dull/boring way just serious about their country and their role.

Sorry.. misinterpretion, what I mean is he seems to take the title seriously. Everything must follow the rules, include who will be the next Grand Duchess. He may seek momma's approval before choose any girl. But we never know, love is sometimes blind.

Yeah, William is the third in line to the throne while Guillaume is second. That's why he cant feel the real pressure yet. One more thing, there are so many representatives beside William such as his uncles to represent the Queen especially for foreign visits. However, Guillaume does need to be a second man to his father. When its come to Luxembourg, you might only see his parents or himself. His brothers does not lead any event yet. Felix did appear alone in few events too, not much, maybe in the future..

That's not what I was saying...I think his position is bigger than Williams and therefore he can't act out as much and do things a regular guy in their 20's would want. The princes have a little more freedom in that department.

HGD Guillaume behaves in a mature manner and there is something about him that tells me he is reliable, dependable and probably a good friend to those close to him.

I noticed that some think he is a 'mother's boy' but to me I would think he would be the opposite. Though I'm sure he loves his mother very much. I would think based on his position he would be somewhat closer to his father. I think he has to be close to his father to learn things so even though in his youth maybe he was closer to his mother I would imagine he must be a little closer to his father at this stage in his life due to the position he is in.

We are girls and we like to make man perfect. How do you see that he is reliable? He is very proud its yes of course. But how can you imagine that he is reliable? from which behaviour? Are all mature people reliable?
