Guillaume's Future

Hi everybody! How do you think what is next for Guillaume? He has now that ring. Have you seen photos with that ring? It was no engagement yet. But he seems to be very serious man so i dont think he will do it just for pleasure. Maybe he has someone and hides someone. How do you think? Maybe he gave promise to that girl and just is using more time to know that this is very serious to marry her. WE know so little. Remember Felippe and Letizia? Everyone was schocked because of engagament.No one knew about Letizia till engagement. What is Guillaume doing nowadays and why is he so secretive? What do you think about his real nature?

I did not know that he was dating anyone, I do not think that anybody but Guillaume would know If he has promised something to a girl but maybe he is dating Pia Haraldsen again who knows. He could be dating someone, the Luxembourg Royal family are very quite about their private lives they don't put their personal lives out into the public. It would be shocking if he came out with some mysterious girl and said that they are engaged but you know that might be a good thing because it gives the media less of a chance to scrutinze the girl. As far as his real nature goes he probably is very quite about his personal life and he kind of reminds me of the Liechtenstein royals, they only come out for royal engagements you rarely hear about them being at some nightclub. But anyway, he probably is very very secretive about his life.

I think its best that way, a private life. You have any problems, in that way they can do their duties and enjoys life. Look at the British royal, for goodness sake they had a sex tape.

Why is he so secretive how do you think? I have read that he is intelligent but very shy. Many shy people are interesting people, some are boring. maybe he doesnt want to show his real indentity. Prince William wants to go to pub clubs and he do what he wants. He can be drunk even in public and he is not paying attention that he is future king. Well there were rumors about gay thing but i dont think so about Guillaume. I think that thats just a rumour. Than i dont understand what is he doing? He is young but he acts like old man

Well, the gay rumour has been done for just about every male royal that is around, so I tend to take that with a few pinches of salt.

I think that the main reason why we see less misbahavior of Guillaume than of William is because William is followed by the paparazzi while Guillaume has much less problems with them.

I don't think Guillaume is a gay! I think he is shy and he is a bit like Prince Phillipe of Belgium. Phillipe was not a Don Juan, or my other words he was not a man of many girlfriends. He had 2 or 3 before Mathilde, his wife, and I think that's what is going to happen with Guillaume.
Even if Guillaume was the British Heir I think he wouldnt have so many problems with Paparazzi like William has. Guillaume prefers a calm life, I think, and he is much less interested in parties and bars than William is.

I dont think thats good to have so much parties as William. But dont you think that its pretty strange and boring to live as Guillaume do you? He is young. May he be boring type of person?

He doesnt seem to be a very exuberant person but I wouldn't call him boring. Sometimes too vibrant people are a bit tiring to be with too. I think Guillaume is very shy and he takes his duties too seriously, he could be a bit more alived like his mother, but well what can we do?

1.Do you think shy people are always shy? Even in relationship? i mean is it the situation when the girl can dominate. Sometimes people can hide real nature and be not very shy in private life. I know nobody knows that for sure for him, but anyway what would you say?
2. Tara said that maybe he is dating Pia again. Dont think so but maybe...How do you think could she be future bride? Do you like her?If not than write why.

I think that people could be shy in public and around people who they don't know very well but can be open and almost like a completely different person when they are around people that they feel comfortable with.
And regarding Pia, I don't know much about her except that she has been called the Scandanavian equivalent of Paris Hilton.

that is so true.....i have some friends that are so shy but when they are around people that they know they are totally different people. Guillaume and his siblings seem to be very private shy people whom i adore. As for rumors of an engagement I guess that we will just have to wait and see!

do you think can paris hilton like girl(Pia) be acceptable by royal family?

I'm not real sure about that Paris Hilton herself is wearing out her welcome in America. They would have to be really strong to put up with stuff like that. But who knows the royal family seems very accepting so we will just have to wait and see. (If that is ever the case)

i dont think that they are acceptable so much. Why didnt they give the title to Tessy? When in Norway heir to the throne married not only commoner but woman with not his child. And she will become queen. So i dont think luxembourg family is so acceptable. Pia talked about their relations to the press. Is it good? I think she was great mistake in his life

I don't think someone like Pia would be accepted for the role of Hereditary Grand Duchess. She was not discrete and that is certainly important especially for the Luxembourg royals who are extremely private. Also, imo, she is not one to be admired or respected like some of the current crown princesses. I think Guillaume learned a lot from dating Pia and probably will not marry someone like her.

I think Guillaume is still very young so sooner or later he will find a suitable wife for himself. We just need to be patient and wait til then.

As for Pia, not to be rude but I don't like her at all. She seems very irresponsible and fun loving to me. Not that there is any problem with the latter, but I don't want to see Guillaume turn out like William.

The reason that Tessy did not get a title was because of the way that the laws write....she had a child out of wedlock and that is why she didn't get a title and Louis renouced his title so there would not be an uproar . whereas in Monaco they changed that a few years ago and if the person had a child out of wedlock they could marry that person and the child be legimized (spell) and be heir to the throne.

But see in Norway crown prince will make Mette Marit queen in future. And she was nobody and with child. And not his own child. Child from other man.So whats wrong with Luxembourg then?
In Great Britain it is Act of Suttlement which says about wife of future heir, Is it something similar document in Luxembourg?

every royal family and the country that they are living in have different documents on marriages of the royals and such.......i would have imagined that in Norway they changed their documents and such...I'm not really sure. As you know that marriage was very contraversol so they had to have changed something for Mette Marit to be the future queen.
