Imagine yourself grand duchess of Luxembourg. What would you like to change in Luxembourg? WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO CHANGE AND WHAT TO LEAVE WITHOUT CHANGING?

I didnt spend so much time there. Been there only for a day. I was touring 7 countries in 15 days. They did bring us to few beautiful places in Luxembourg and of course shopping spot. but I couldnt remember the name of the place. I need to check my vid cam back :). What I remember was I like the place compared to Belgium or even Switzerland. Not to say Belgium is not a beautiful country but maybe because of the surrounding near to my hotel was not so pleasant. But the shopping spot was nice and I had nice briyani and curry in the middle of the nite in Belgium. I didnt have the opportunity to explore Luxembourg like that. I prefer Lux to Switz when it comes to weather. About the people (in General), I think all can be considered as nce experience except few bad experience with some people there including one in the ship (is it a ship or a boat) from France to England.

Seriously, I was not aware about Luxembourg before (Never ask about my Geography). Though its a republic. I wish I know Guillaime existence before..

I prefer weather in Lux. In Switz, quite drizzling at that time. Same as Florence. Paris worst. 2 day we've been there and its raining all day. Italy was hot especially Rome and Geneva. Capri was good, even though hot. I prefer cool but clear and clean weather just like Lux and London. However, maybe some of the parts I was at the wrong place at the wrong time, especially Paris.

What would I do if I know his existence before?.. I dont know..hmm maybe I will try to find more infos or souviniers which represent them specifically. But is there any?

I've seen the palace royale program before. At that time, everything seems to be okay.. Let me find and check again. Cant remember where did I found it.

Explain me smth. If he succeeds to the grand ducal throne as expected, he will reign as the fifth of his name, Guillaume V (or William V when anglicized) How could he be William when he is Guillaume Jean Joseph Marie. I dont understand this. And Guillaume IV was called William IV ( grand duke) How could it be? When anglicized? Luxembourg is catholic country.

"Anglicized" simply means transfering into English idiom - Jean = John, Guillaume = William. He will be Guillaume V when his time comes - it translates into William V in English.

Because he's not French or from a French speaking country. In Wales William is Gwilim or Gwilym. See Behind the Name - the Etymology and History of First Names

Are there some changes with place royale? It was working. For example it is the link with Guillaume voice which i took from here RTL.lu Search - LuXPoint Directory When i open such window has shown me this RTL.lu Fréquences 2ten RTL
Fréquences 2ten RTL

Les opérateurs suivants diffusent le programme 'den 2ten RTL dans leur câble: And a lot of things.

I too tried to access the program. I saw that someone had posted a link in the royal voices thread, and I wanted to hear Guillaume's, but I got the same message as you did. It seems the link is gone.

Back to the problem of changes it is really interesting what do you think. What i would like to say is not only about luxembourgroyals i think it is the thing all over the world. We could call royal very down to earth but thats all we can do. Who can write here he or she knows prince/princess not matter from which country he she is. And we can dream and call all them down to earth and we forget in our dreams that we are wrong, very wrong. That it is really big deal to get to know royals because they can think of you bad.If you are not millionaire, not aristocrat it is very hard to be friend with someone like royalty all over the world. What i would like to change is to change this. But it is not going to happen anyway. To be friend with royal man or woman you have to be in very high society, in special social circle. Of course you would say you are right. I am. I know that. Because you would not talk with royalty in the streets and if you do you will do it with their bodygards. You will say o yes they are so down to earth and you will not think that you are very wrong.Because its part of job to be nice with simple people. Its not downt to earth. To be downto earth means to become friend with someone from the crowd or with many people. By the way do not think its going to happen because royals can say that you are fanatic person or maniac. Its not equal partnership. What do you think about that?

I will disagree Royals are not all like that we are very down to earth ! yes we have friends that do well in life to but we have friends that are like every budy else we like to be some what normal and stay out of the press! we are not hard to be friends with , I will say that it can be a challenge at times we are not aloud to go do just any thing and are every move is watched but we are quite plesent people , yes we do things different lee but that is part of being Royal it is a tradition and a life style and a job it is not always easy being Royal it is not a task any one can do you have to not only represent your country but your family and and stile be you .

It is better to be loved for who you are then to beloved for who you are not.

HRH Bella. you often has said we are not we are doing things differently...and so on. I asked about royals And you answer WE. Maybe you should say THEY(royals) You say like you are royal. Are you royal?
Yes you said its hard, people are watched and its lifestyle and job. Who can dissagree? Of course, you are right!!! But thats not what i have meant.
I mean you can dream that royals have friends from the streets. But thats not true! Do you have friends from where? From your circle right? The same royals. They do have friends from their circle. In this circle are not so many simple people i would say.And you cant be in such circle just because you wish. You can be there because of birth(millionaires, aristocrats HRH) or because of luck( modern crown princesses Mette Marit, Mary). And if one is not so lucky as my last examples than he or she has no opportunity to be in the circle. And this is not because royals are so bad thats because these simple people do not have access to such life to know royals.

They should take out Luxembourgish...since no one speaks outside of Luxembourg. I think most European countries should have English as an official language with all the tourism business.

I do not agree with you! The language of a country is part of its culture. It does not matter if it is not used outside of Europe. In which countries outside of Europe do they speak German, Swedish, Norwegian or Danish? I furthermore think that if Europe would have an official language it would be French (maybe German)..

They don't use it outside of Luxembourg, not Europe...French & German are used outside of Luxembourg in various countries. And since they are also the official languages, it becomes a bit much. I feel the same way about Switzerland's overload of languages.

If it's traditional than it should be a family's choice to keep it for more generations. I don't think it should be official. JMO...
