Default Victoria as a Godmother/Sponsor

I don´t know if the dutch court has already confirmed the godparents. But it seems as if crown princess Victoria would be one. The (just updated) calendar on www.royalcourt.se says, that she will be present at the baptism.

To which children is Victoria godmother? Seems like she is the best choice for this new round of Crown Princesses. She will truly be one of the only people to understand what they will go thru.

I agree...the little princesses can learn a lot from Victoria.
As much as I know Victoria is godmother of Constantine Alexios of Greece, Ingrid Alexandra of Norway, and now high likely of Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands.
She surely is also godmother of children in her circle of friends. There were rumours that she became godmother of the child of her cousin Patrick Sommerlath (nephew of her mother...he´s living in Stockholm) and of the child of H&M "heir" Karl Johan Persson.

So she is collecting little princesses?

Does anyone now how it is with protestants as Victoria is.

If Victoria would be a Roman Catholic Godmother Catherina Amalia would be seen as an offspring of her by the Roman Catholic Law.

Yes, she probably has an own little album, in which she pastes pictures of her little goddaughters into, and then she´s telling Daniel full of proud " I´ve one new...yeah, I have one new" :P

As far as I know it´s not a problem to have as protestant child a catholic godparent or vice versa.

Even if she would be Jewish or Muslim she could be. Thats not the point. I wonder if the consequences are the same, even if rather unimportant nowadays!

It seems as if Victoria would wear again the outfit, which she wore for the belgian wedding in 2003 and for the birthday photos to Silvia´s birthday 2003. B-O-R-I-N-G

Can´t deny that...To be honest I´m a real "princess on the pea" :P
Yes, you´re right I should try to be more satisfied...especially because she DIDN´T wear a ponytail.
But you´ve forgotten the "A". I´m not Len (even though it would be G-R-E-A-T)

I must say that I agree with those of you who have said that she could have worn another outfit to Princess Catharina-Amalia's christening today. I mean the outfit in itself is very nice, especially the hat - but I too think she could've worn something more "springlike" as she did at Princess Ingrid Alexandra's christening. That oufit she had back then was really nice, with good bright colour and a summer feel to it. We've already seen the outfit she wore today a few times too....

:P

I have no complaints. Okay. Another outfit would be nice. The Dennis who likes variety agrees with everybody. But the other Dennis says that she looked great anyway.

Great photos, Lena. I especially like the third photo. She is really smiling there.

and my two cents worth ....

I agree with Lena, its so b-o-r-i-n-g seeing Victoria in a re-run of an outfit when all the other beauties have splurged on new dresses and hats.

I especially like Grand Duchess Maria Teresa ... she looked smashing. Looks like she dropped a few pounds. She looked svelte, and her husband looked like he didn't quite know the (new) lady at his side.
