Now, the best mother in thw world is a bit over the top :D but Vic is doing a great work as a mum IMO and she is preparing her daughter to the life of a future Queen! I like the fact they seem almost twins on that cover!

Victoria, Power Princess indeed. She became heir to the Swedish throne through a vote in the Riksdag (2 sessions I believe) when she was three. She is a woman who had to go through personal struggles - dyslexia, bulimia, opposition to the man she wanted to marry because of his social standing - and she came out on the other side. I see a woman who is dedicated to her duties and takes the job of being the future sovereign (ceremonial of course) seriously. Victoria can be fashionable, but she doesn't let fashion define her. Many have commented on why her hair is always in a bun and that makes her look too severe. I take the bun as a way to be taken seriously. Victoria will be queen regnant - head of state, not a fashion plate. I also see a woman in what appears to be a happy marriage with a charming daughter who will be her heir. I can see why many admire Victoria, and I have grown to admire her too.

I love the Valentine's cover for SvD! I would like to see the translation of this article. Victoria and Daniel went through so much, especially the media onslaught on Daniel, who didn't have a whiff of scandal attached to his name. Daniel still occasionally gets dragged in the press, but they managed to build on a relationship that has led to a 5-year (and counting) marriage, a beautiful and seemingly happy daughter Estelle and another little one on the way. Happy Valentine's Day for the Crown Princess Couple!
