Victoria and Daniel attended on Saturday at the christening of Daniel's cousin Frida Westling's daughter at Östra Ryd church outside Täby.
Both Victoria and Daniel looked relaxed and seemed to have a peaceful day off. Also Daniel's father Olle Westling attended at the christening.
Victoria landed on Swedish soil on Friday, after a few hectic days in New York. Prince Oscar was with her and the stay in New York was the first official foreign trip Victoria made since he was born. In New York Victoria attended among other things, at a meeting of the UN General Assembly, where even Margot Wallström attended. The Minister for Foreign Affairs appreciated the Crown Princess's commitment to the UN.
- Her involvement in New York was appreciated, says Pezhman Fivrin, press secretary of Margot Wallström.
- There were many exciting encounters, said Victoria about her New York trip while she and Daniel were photographed outside the church.

:previous: That's what I like about Victoria and Daniel, they are so relaxed and happy that they must seem very approachable to their countrymen and are willing to oblige with a photo if it doesn't breach security.
 
Victoria and Daniel hosted on Tuesday at Haga Palace a so-called "literary salon". A total of 13 people, including the Crown Princess couple.
The literary meeting took place in conjunction with the Swedish Academy - and the Permanent Secretary Sara Danius chaired the evening.
Nisha Besara, a columnist at Expressen, was one of the invited guests. She has also been invited once before but wasn't able to attend then.
- It was a rather small gathering. It was very informal and engaging and very interesting talks, about literature, history, politics, present time. Children and culture.
According to her, the aim was to gather people with different perspectives and exchange experiences. The guests were in place and discussed for about two hours.
Others who attended the meeting were, among others, Lars Strannegård, rector of the Stockholm School of Economics, Hans Linde, Member of Parliament for the Left Party, the Marshal of the Court Karolin A. Johansson and Elnaz Baghlanian, literary director at the publishing house Atlas.
- The Crown princess couple uses their platform to tie together people from different sectors to urgent discussions. It was really interesting because we could all bounce off each other based on our own sectors and experiences, says Besara.
She thinks that Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are wise.
- I have great respect for them because they use their work and platform to gather people they think have something important to say.
The director of the Press department, Margareta Thorgren confirms that a small gathering was held at Haga Palace.
- It is a literary gathering which is one of many activities that the Crown Princess Couple recurring invites to Haga. It is in collaboration with the Swedish Academy.
When did these meetings began?

These meetings are not at the royal calendar.

Svensk Damtidning writes that Victoria and Daniel often hold informal gatherings at home at Haga. They invite actors, entertainers and people with significant roles in politics and business to dinner to keep themselves up to date on current issues and social development. As Sweden's crown princess and future head of state, it is important for Victoria to have a full understanding and insight into what is happening in Sweden, at all levels.

The history of Blomsterstigen starts in 1883, when doctor Ernst Westerlund was in Storlien and botanised. He had been inspired by health resorts and sanatoriums in Central Europe and wanted to take up the heart and nerve sick patients - "air guests" - to Storlien. Westerlund became so attached to this beautiful mountain region, he then made a visit here every summer for 40 years. Many patients came with him.
In the middle of the slope, a little hidden was the doctor's bench. There he sat like a commander wearing a slouch hat and black cape and verified that the patients followed his orders.

While Daniel was visiting Skellefteå on Thursday with Prince Daniel Fellowship, he stayed in Skellefteå until the evening, and attended at the icehockey match Skellefteå AIK-Färjestad BK, together with governor Magdalena Andersson, AIK director Pea Israelsson and industrialist Carl Bennet, who is a member of Daniel's Prince Daniel Fellowship team.

The Victoria and Estelle one looks a bit more like a charicature, Estelle doesn't look much like herself. :sad: but artist certainly has some talent.

Daniel has given an interview to Lyckoslanten (Swedbank's and Sparbankerna's magazine for children on 4th-6th grade). The magazine is published four times a year. Daniel met the reporter at Haga Palace in late summer (I think), because the interview is in issue 3 of 2016.
The editor in chief Arturo Arques about the interview: "I am really pleased that Lyckoslanten has got Prince Daniel's interview. I think it is great that the Prince is involved in children and young people. He helps children to become independent and affect their own future in a positive direction. And I very much agree with his best advice: try to find something to work with to what you feel passion and joy for - then it will be the best!"

Daniel said:
- The truth is that I have never worked as much as now and I have the world's most fun role. It is inspiring to for example, be out in schools and talk about health and entrepreneurship with young people.
The Prince and Crown Princess Victoria have together The Crown Princess Couple's Foundation. Through it they work to reduce exclusion among children and adolescents. That means they want that all young should dare to believe that they will live good lives, and dare to follow their dreams.
What can I do if I see a friend in class who is an outsider?
- I think you should ask yourself "How do I want to be treated?" There you have the answer on how to treat others. How you are to your classmate can determine how the friend is feeling the rest of life. Everyone doesn't have to be best friends, but everyone can be fair with their classmates.
If I have difficulties in school - it is over for me?
- No, it's never over! No one is hopeless. Everyone is good on something but children have different ways to learn on. Focus on what you are good at and enjoy. We need children who believe in themselves and dare to fail. We are too scared to fail in Sweden. A good example is Niklas Zennström, He founded Skype. Skype was his fourth company, the three previous didn't work. But he learned a lot and came a little longer each time. Nobody can cycle on the first try.
The Prince started himself business as quite young. Was it scary?
- I loved working with training, and felt that it would be even better if I and a friend could start our own business. We found a worn old gym that we wanted to buy. Three training clients to us helped us to borrow money so we could buy the gym. They knew that we were willing to work hard, and we got more confidence because they believed in us: a few young guys from the South Norrland.
Children move around less and less. Why it is so?
- When I was a child there was outdoor adventures, today the adventures are in the screens. I certainly would have also wanted to watch a lot of Youtube clips of my favorite artists if it would have existed when I was small. But you must understand that physical movement also affects other parts of life. One has easier to learn in school if one is moving. If you do not like sports maybe at least you can walk or cycle to school.
Did the prince have pocket money when he was little?
- Yes, the first weekly and then monthly pocket money. I was very economical, set goals for what I wanted to buy, such as a radio controlled car, and so I saved my money in a small cash box and wished money for Christmas.
Has the prince become accustomed to live in a palace?
- Yes, I have lived in both a very small apartment, and, as today, in a palace. And I've got used at both. Humans are good at getting used to new situations.
What is the most exciting aspect of having children?
- The most amazing is that love is so unconditional. When I see that Oscar is satisfied and when Estelle has fun, I'm happy. In a way it will be more difficult to obtain life when you have children, but in a different way it makes it easier because when the kids are happy I am happy. Children are more important than anything else.
The prince's best advice to children and young people?
- It is that they should find something where they have passion and heart on - and go for it. Whatever you work with, you shall work for many years.

Well, I don't find Daniel particularly attractive, but I can understand the sex appeal for him XD
 
I think there is a bit more included in the ranking than just the looks, even if I could understand that people sees him as attractive. His personality and his way to create a life in the Royal Family and that he is perceived as a modern man and responsible father are factors people include in this.
 
Daniel Vodusek, a Swedish Textile Artist and Creative Designer at ADV Idé & Design focuses on big textile art. He had an exhibition "World Famous Swedes" at Gothia Towers in Gothenburg 14th October-13th November. The exhibition consisted of textile art, Vodusek's versions of World Famous Swedes in large format.

With the portrait there was a throne, where people could take photos of themselves with Victoria's portrait, and even a photo competition. People could won a stay for two at Gothia Towers at a competition of a photo of themselves with the portrait.

Svensk Damtidning tells that Victoria, Daniel and the children were last week on a holiday at Maldives, at resort Soneva Fushi founded over 20 years ago by swedish Eva Malmström Shivdasani. Madeleine and her family were there in January this year. Victoria and Daniel stayed at the same villa as Madeleine's family on their trip.

One of Sweden's leading experts gives Crown Princess Victoria the highest rating on body language. "It's so fast, so elegant and so clear," he says in Aftonbladet TV.
