Victoria has given an interview to Radio Sweden's "Naturmorgon" (Nature morning) program. The interview was done on a beautiful morning on August 29 and of course Victoria had Rio with her.

On October 28, Naturmorgon broadcasts a long interview with Victoria, recorded during a forest walk in Tyresta National Park with Mats Ottosson from Naturmorgon.
Victoria says that what nature gives her, she wants to pass on to her children. She offers several unexpected tips for how she lures her own children out into nature.
She especially remembers what it was like to camp with dad, and even dig into a snow bivouac in the winter.
Climate change and loss of biodiversity make her worried about the future and she thinks we really don't understand how bad the situation is.
The editors have followed Victoria's great interest in nature. Mats Ottosson tells that it feels very funny that they could do the interview in the program's normal way, go out into the forest and experience nature together.

We remember that the Crown Princess family's Christmas video in 2016 was done in Tyresta National Park. It's only 35 km from Haga Palace and obviously the family visits there often.

Naturmorgon möter*kronprinsessan .Victoria – och det ovanliga storbandbiet 28 oktober 2023 - Naturmorgon _ Sveriges Radio

Victoria tells in the interview how she and Daniel get the children out to nature.
They have found a successful trick that made it much easier to bring Estelle and Oscar out on a trip.
- Bring a tennis ball. That is the best way. Then you can play tag and then you get ahead in a completely different way. It's the best thing we've done.
Victoria describes their game where they have to touch each other with the ball while walking and how the game is fun for the whole family.
- Daniel is good at touching, Oscar is good at running, Estelle is also good at running. I'm very bad at touching, she says.
Victoria and Daniel have also used another method to lure the children out: to have a clear target, at a reasonable distance. They have found such a place near Haga.
- We named a large stone the pancake stone. We did that early on when the children were small. It became very popular. So we made things up on the way there and on the way back.
The stone is called the "pancake stone" because pancakes are served when they arrive there.

Victoria steps out of one of the court's cars with a pair of hiking boots on her feet.
- They are as old as they look. I've had these since grammar school. They've kept up, I've had to change the sole once because I wore them down.
The Crown Princess family likes to pick mushrooms and Victoria mentions some common varieties of mushrooms that she knows.
