The Rise of the Postmodern Princess
I just got done reading this great article. It's about the Postmodern Princess, and gives examples about all of your favorite royal ladies of the time (Mette-Marit, Mathilde, Marie-Chantal), and would really be great in a couple of other threads **cough cough Letizia thread**. But it's something I noticed around half-way down or so. It says that Queen Silvia told Victoria to "eat fewer burgers". Has anyone else heard this? It was a bit disturbing, especially knowing about Victoria's eating disorder. Could this comment have helped start her anorexia? Or did she even make the comment at all? |
