I actually think that on this occasion Victoria outdid her mother in the fashion department. The big boxy shoulder-pad black blazer and bright green skirt made Silvia look like she'd stepped out of a clothing catalogue from the '80s.
Other than the wrinkles and crinkling in the white dress (linen!), the pink jacket with the nice ribbon detailing is one of Victoria's better jackets. It is quite pretty and flattering on her. But the ponytail (French twisted or not) has got to go. Couldn't she have done something different and special for her birthday? A wave would be nice, or maybe blow dryed into a nice style? 27 years old and she still goes around sporting a ponytail to such special occasions -- not just going to the corner store to pick up milk and a trashy magazine.
Madeleine was the best dressed of all the ladies though; that bright colour of pink and cream-coloured pants was very young and fresh looking. And it complimented her tan quite nicely too.

yepp ..... agree. Must have been cold though, that pink jacket looked to be pretty thick.

I agree. Victoria is fine the way she is. I keep telling some of these silly people that not everybody can or even want to be pencil thin. It would be cruel to tell her to lose weight knowing she has an eating disorder. She doesn't need to lose any weight.

In light of the fact she suffered from anorexia, I believe thats a bit of an insenstive comment to make. People get anorexia based on body issues, and comments like that add/exacerbate a problem like that which is life threatening. She is lucky to be alive, she would've damaged her body and electrolytes from starving herself when she had it.
Countless people whov'e had anorexia started down that path via cmments like that. No doube the queen didnt' help by tryng to force her to be on a diet at such a young age as well as the pressure that comes with her role in life.
Whilst I don't believe you mean harm or anything, I honestly think that if you should think about your thought processes with regards to people's weight before saying it/posting it. Be happy you have a CP who is healthy again.

I think Victoria looks wonderful, she is fit & strong & even if she were a bit out of shape (which she is not) it doesn't mean she has to lose weight to look better. Perhaps if all of those twig like women out there would eat a hamburger or 2 they'd look more like women & less like starving orphans. I think they are the ones who need to gain weight to look better.

Anja won the overall World Cup standings for skiing this past season. She came in first in the giant slalom and the slalom as well. In fact, her dominance in those two types of events was so great that she still won overall even though she did not finish in the top 5 in the Downhill nor the Super-G.

It was a good programme on Tv this year. I liked the interview very much (especially the scared- Victoria part :P )
and all the royal ladies looked good, as usual!
Too bad I couldn´t be online last week but now I´m back and I want to say a big thank-you to all of you who posted pics. Its so much easier to "catch up" now :P
