Wow, I am really impressed! How fantastic he´s doing his "new" job on his own.
I am so glad for him! How quickly and "looking easily" he has grown into his new role. As if he would never have done something else!
Of course I only can judge from the pics and videos! But all of them gives me a really warm impression. Perfect, Prince Daniel! Victoria can be sooo proud of you!

He looks like he´s really enjoying his time in the US and the children seem to have a lot of fun too:-) I always thought he has brown eyes but in the picture above they look green-blue-ish...It´s really difficult to see it clearly because he is always wearing glasses but after taking a close look at some photos I believe he doesn´t have brown eyes, but they are beautiful no matter what colour they are :-)

I really like it how Daniel can take centerstage effortlessly if he has to on being guest of honour and how proudly he represents his home country. OTOH if he is with his wife or his wife and her parents, he effortlessly fades a bit in the background and lets them be at the center of attention. He never appears out of place, IMHO, always just right for the occasion. That's absolutely perfect for a successful consort.

Judging by this trip to NY I think the Swedes really hit the jackpot. Daniel seems so relaxed and comfortable in his own skin that it enables others to relax around him which makes for a great ambassador. A Prince among men in fact!
He has great presence and seems to create a sort of "chilled" atmosphere around him which enables him to mix and mingle in a warm and relaxed way and effortlessly dominates the proceedings without demanding attention.
Perhaps he picked up a few tips from his lovely wife.

Remember back in the day when Daniel was getting nailed because "He's nothing more than a Trainer. W/out a doubt not even close to being thought of as a worthy partner and husband to our Crown Princess." and other such nonsense?
Well, has he ever proved all of those naysayers wrong and then some!! Yes indeed, Victoria chose *very* well. I'm betting that not only is Victoria proud, but Their Majesties must just be so incredably proud of Daniel as well. They also have to be paying close attention to how Daniel is doing in NYC and they must just be so incredably proud of how he's been performing his duties. :o)

I'm absolutely impressed how well Daniel is doing on his trip and how great he is representing his country. He will be a perfect consort once Victoria is queen, she couldn't have made a better choice.

Kataryn, you have said it far better than I. I had noticed his " effortless fade" routine but it hadn't really registered. I guess that is another measure of his success. Either Prince School is really paying off or his on-the-job with Victoria is a winner!

I guess he really loved his wife and has a deep and honest respect for her and her parent's constitutional role, thus he really accepts their (higher) place and wishes to support them wholeheartedly. I bet he will never do anything that either hurts his wife personally or threatens her public position.

Yes, it was said at the Google translation, I just shortened it a bit.
