Daniel visited today Hummelsta School in Enköping.
On Monday Hummelsta School got a nice visit. Prince Daniel wanted to know more about how the school works with sports at school.
- I had read about what they do and wanted to know more, Daniel told to Ena-Håbo newspaper.
Daniel wants more young people to move in schools. In Hummelsta school they are thinking the same way. They are on halfway at the five-year project MEIH, More Energy In Hummelsta.
The court approached last week the school and asked for a visit.

The prince took his time in school, he had plenty of time to talk with both students and staff.

- Of course it was special to talk to him, but after a while it felt as if you talked to anyone, Emmy said.

MEIH project aims to give students a better social and physical health so that each individual can reach their full potential.
Daniel thinks Hummelsta school's work is extremely exciting.
- We know how important physical activity is for children, now we have no definitive answer on how this will affect, but what I have seen here today looks very good.
Daniel said that he will remember from this visit how the work here shows the strength when the whole community is involved, not just an individual sport teacher.
Daniel continued through the hallways and talked happily about food and sports with those who wanted to talk to him. Selfie? Sure, no problem.
And had lunch at school.
- It was really a visit which exceeded expectations, Daniel said.
