Daniel attended today at the Sweden Russia Business Forum in Moscow. He inaugurated the forum, here is his speech (in english)

At the court website about Daniel's visit to Moscow. Yesterday he met the swedish athletes, today after the Business Forum he will support the swedish contestants the World Championships in Athletics at the Luzhniki Stadium and the evening ends with a cruise on River Moskva.

Well, the children didn't seem to be bothered. Daniel and the kids seemed to have a great time, which is the most important thing, isn't it?

Prince Daniel is wearing a jacket and pants. He is very appropriately and sporty dressed. None of the photos show him in a suit. So what are you talking about?

What a fuss about Daniel's cloths! To me he should be free to dress as he wishes as long as "correct", which it always is!!
I think that he is only little interested in cloths, and dresses as he feels confortable, without thinking a lot about changing his style. His style is indeed formal, but if it makes him feel confortable, why not? I would not be surprised he still has in the back of his mind all the criticism about his previous style, so prefers to be on the "safe side". There are more important things than cloths for a man. Yes perhaps a pity, his shape would allow him more fantasy.

Daniel attended today at the Stockholm Digital Health Days at the Stockholm International Fairs (Stockholmsmässan). Stockholm Digital Health Days is an annual international forum where the challenges in the health sector are discussed.
Daniel is a member of the Honorary Committee for the Stockholm Digital Health Days.

Daniel visited the head office of Ikea on Monday. He met the ceo Mikael Ohlsson at the World Child and Youth Forum in March and told him that he would be very interested in visiting Ikea. Governor Kristina Alsér interrupted her visit at Saab so that she could Daniel at IKEA.

Sport day at Haga Park on September 8 offers a smörgåsbord of activities that will inspire young people to sports. The program includes run and lots of try-sports. It is Prince Daniel who is the initiator of the day and he will be in the Haga Park.

For the first time ever kept Prince Daniel's run, which is aimed for children born in 2001-2007. The key is to participate and no winner is chosen, instead, all children receive a medal and some other goodies as a prize for their efforts.
All children who are preregistered get a "Prince Daniel's race" t-shirt. Participants are divided into two groups, one group of children born in 2005-2007 and with children born in 2001-2004. For the younger children the run is 800 meters while for the older group it is 1600 meters long.

Daniel was interviewed live on TV4 about the first "Prins Daniels lopp" (Prince Daniel's race) and the first Sports Day in the Haga Park. The children can try different kinds of sports at the Haga Park. Daniel wants to motivate the children to move and exercise more. He is very good in interviews and passionate about this issue. The interviewer gave him flowers to congratulate him for his 40th birthday next Sunday.

Expressen-TV sent live from the Haga Park. Daniel was interviewed on the stage and he gave an interview to Expressen's reporter also. They showed him walking among the children, he seemed to love every moment of it.

Daniel visits Åland in 10th October. He visits also the Parliament of Åland from the invitation of Speaker Britt Lundberg. More details of the visit later. Åland is an autonomous, demilitarised, monolingually Swedish-speaking region of Finland that consists of an archipelago lying at the entrance to the Gulf of Bothnia in the Baltic Sea.

I react rather late and believe my comment now fits better here. The comment on the loss of weight of Olle W is correct, I think. Chris gave me also the impression of having lost weight. There must be a fitness room at Haga, and Daniel is probably taking care of the welbeing of everyone in the family!

According to Svensk Damtidning, Daniel and Carl Philip play floorball together with some of their friends at least once a week.

Daniel arrived this morning to his visit at Bolagsverket (Swedish Companies Registration Office) in Sundsvall. Also governor Bo Källstrand participates at the visit.

About Daniel's visit to Åland on 10th October:

The prince will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Åland society from many perspectives. The program includes a visit to Åland Parliament with information about Åland autonomy, demilitarization and Åland industry. Prince Daniel visits also the Åland Sjöfarts Museum (Maritime Museum). Prince Daniel has a special commitment to entrepreneurship and visits even business seminar "Framstegen" for young entrepreneurs to Alandica culture and congress and company Carus Ltd.

Daniel presented just Heart-Lung Foundation's first Prince Daniel's Grant for Particularly Promising Young Researchers. The grant, 6 million SEK, was given to professor Fredrik Bäckhed from the Sahlgrenska Adacemy at the University of Gothenburg.

Glad to read about another successful engagement of Daniel!! He looked great, and hold a well thought speech.

I think this time he has new glasses: they seem to contain several colours, instead of only black, and are lighter??! or just an impression?
