17000 people were yesterday at the Haga Park at the Sports Day (last year 12000). And 1300 children run the Prince Daniel's Race (last year 700).

Daniel attends today at a meeting of Advisory Board Falun 2015 (the FIS Nordic Ski World Championships), he is a member of the Advisory Board.
 
David Sundberg from Sundberg Guitars told to Arbetarbladet that Daniel called him last summer and wanted to come to visit the shop and check the craft.
On Wednesday they decided that the guitar Daniel had decided to order should be a "Sundberg 00" - small, acoustic and steel-stringed. In addition, it has the court's emblem.
- It is a very great honor to receive this appreciation and confidence, says Sundberg.
He and Prince Daniel have known each other many years ago when they played hockey, but had not seen in 20 years. Sundberg can also tell that the Prince used to play guitar in his youth.
- He is interested in music, and likes the craft. It can also be a nice thing to have on the wall and watch.
Next week he begins to build on the guitar, which is expected to be completed in three to four months.

Daniel has attended today at the board meeting of Ung Företagsamhet (Young Enterprise). It is a non-profit and independent organization with the aim to work with the school to introduce entrepreneurship and involved enterprise in the education system.

From Solna High School they continue to Stockholm University, where their presentation is a part of "Starta Eget" -day (Start You Own) at the University and the live coverage just started.

They postponed the start with 15 minutes because there has been a bomb threat in Stockholm and it has caused some trouble in the trafic and everyone hasn't managed to come to the University in time.

Not towards Daniel or the royals. There has been two bomb alerts at Stockholm banks and of course it caused some trouble for the traffic.

Daniel visits today Linköping with Prince Daniel's Fellowship entrepreneurship programme. In the morning he goes to Katedralskolan and in the afternoon the University of Linköping.
Governor Elisabeth Nilsson accompanies Daniel the whole day. Yesterday Victoria was in Linköping and today it is Daniel's turn.

Prince Daniel visited all conversation rooms to get an idea of ​​the various discussions. He sees a different and more positive attitude towards entrepreneurship today compared to 15 years ago.
- Good examples are highlighted much more frequently today. Leaders and entrepreneurs are highlighted in a better way and there the media has had an important role, says Prince Daniel.

- It is fascinating how much it has changed since I was young. Now it's more okay to be an entrepreneur.
Emelie Garton, 18, the third year student of the finance program and runs the company PhoneSaver UF. She felt inspired after the talks.
- It was great to hear people who are really passionate about what they do.
For Dag Karlsson, teacher in business and active in the Cathedral School's work with Young Enterprise, the visit was a highlight.
- It's great to see students sit and listen and see how they almost shine.

Daniel visited on Thursday SCA Headquarters at the Waterfront Building in Stockholm. This wasn't at his calendar, but the court has put information to their website.
During the visit the executive vice president Mats Berencreutz and senior vice president Josephine Edwall told about SCA.
SCA participates with a boat in the Volvo Ocean Race and the Prince had the opportunity to receive the first call to Sweden from Abby Ehler from the boat crew.
SCA is a leading global hygiene and forest products company. The Group develops and produces sustainable personal care, tissue and forest products.

- There has for long been a culture that you shouldn't think that you are something. Many people don't dare to take the step to create something unique. You shouldn't think that you are something is the Law of Jante. I generally believe that we come from a culture where it is a bit ugly to succeed. In Sweden, it is ugly to fail. So it should not be. It shouldn't be so than one pushes down anyone who wants to do something. I had people who believed in me. Had I not had it, I might never have dared to take that step. After I had been at a practice in five weeks at a gym so I was sure this was what I wanted to do. This was my goal, to create something of my own. It should be so even today. The ambition and the vision is that young people who want to start a business should be able to do it.
To get away the Law of Jante in Sweden, Daniel has a concrete short advice:
- Believe in your dreams. And above all, have courage to take the plunge. Do not be afraid to fail. It doesn't have to be your whole life. Run really hard for six months and see what it brings along.

Daniel attended today to an event very important to him, a Transplantation Jubilee.
It has been 50 years since the first kidney transplant operation was done in Sweden and it is celebrated today together with 40th anniversary of the first pancreas transplant and 30 years since the first heart and liver transplantation.
Daniel attended at a seminar at Aula Medica and in the evening is a dinner at the City Hall.

I am somehow pleased that his parents have also attended the jubilee.
 
He is such a gentleman and it is great to see his parents involved with the cause, they must be very proud of their son.
 
Of course his parents were there, the celebration was also for the transplant donors. Like we all know, Olle Westling donated his kidney to his son.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences organizes on Wednesday 12th November the first Prince Daniel's Entrepreneur's Day. The day is connected to Prince Daniel Fellowship program.
About 100 young entrepreneurs from all over Sweden have been invited to attend the day. They can talk with Prince Daniel Fellowship's experts. The goal is to inspire young entrepreneurs and to create better conditions for them so that they could make their companies to grow.
Daniel attends of course to the day.
