Yes- it is! Great eye! She has had it since at least 1977 so she certainly has kept it in good condition.
 
This ss a shot of Victoria with her parents, the school principal and I know the lady behind Silvia, Elisabeth worked at court, all going to Victoria's first day of school, 1984 at Smedslatsskolan

This is at a school closing, I believe still at Smedslatsskolan in 1986, you can see Madeleine and their parents as well

:lol: the fashion! I am so thankful that I was born at the end of the 80's and escaped this.
 
Born in 81 so a lot of these photos remind me of my own :lol:

The bike riding one looks like she is in a snow suit:ohmy: There is no snow on the ground and her dad doesn't seem too warmly dressed. Maybe its the Canadian in me, who didn't wear a snow suit like that unless there is like 2 feet of snow and -20celcius :whistling:

Maybe she is wearing it for the padding in case she fell off!
 
I love the fashion, but I suppose I'm just an oddity. I love the royal children's clothes they were little it doesn't seem that bad I think it's cute. Of course I say this as an adult and not the person wearing it. Then again maybe she liked whatever she was wearing who knows. I do find it odd I know this in December, maybe January maybe it was cold enough.
 
We have to remember the era. The clothes may seem funny now, but they were the style back then. Victoria probably felt quite fashionable or at least like she fit in with all the other girls. I look back at pics of me in neon lycra pants under skirts and such and wonder what the heck was I thinking, but that was cool when I was a kid.

I just found this adorable photo of Victoria and Carl Philip as children; and the first thing that jumped out at me was the resemblance between Victoria and little Estelle. If the photo was in colour, I would have thought that it was of Estelle and Alexander, who Carl Philip also resembles here.

ETA: Since she was allegedly nagging the king about his smoking, I wonder if she did the same to her sister Madeleine later on?

I stumbled across this charming photo of Victoria kissing baby Madeleine. Such a sweet and tender moment.
 
Victoria inaugurated Skogens Hus at Skansen in 1989 together with her schoolmates, and her father was also there. She had been asked to inaugurate Skogens Hus and accepted on condition that both her father and her entire class from Ålstensskolan were allowed to come along. She planted a tree.
