Thanks for the articles and for taking the time to translate those that needed to be translated. I like the white dress. I hope we see more of it. I like those white shoes as well. All white outfit and the deep brown eyes. A nice contrast. Cool. Well, I wasnīt a big fan of the yellow dress. I just thought the setting and the subject were fantastic.
"Iīm thinking about making my signature out of this quote" ha ha ha. "Bravo to her! An other princess (donīt say names) comes to my mind, who talks all the time about the design of her country, but who wears mostly foreign clothes" Yes, letīs not name names. Victoria is doing a fine job showcasing Swedish design on this trip. In so many articles, they mention Swedish Style and in a few they specifically talk about fashion designers. I hope this will raise the level of interest of Swedish design in Australia and around the antipodean world. Brava to her. She is doing her job well.

So far I absolutely love her new wardrobe! The white dress is wonderful like most of the other things she has worn at this trip, but i donīt really like the white shoes. I hope she will keep to this new trend of selecting the clothes herself and let ETW do her job (witch doesnīt include fashion advises...)

t4p all the wonderful photos! I must say, I really like her new style! It was time for a big makeover and I think she have found "her look".
But, its nice to see that she still can go from this, http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...hmentid=110868 "model-pose", to the always so wonderful "Victoria-pose" http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...hmentid=110867

Also, yes it is good for her represent Swedish design and all that. However does it not contradict her recent shopping trip to Milan, and her that gorgeous pink Prada bag that she has frequently carried on this trip? |

I agree that Victoria has most certainly found her style. She looks wonderful in some of the new clothes she brought along with her. I should say clothes from Swedish designers, it is great that she is exhibiting the work of her country to others. I would think that would be part of her job description.
Anyways, the only qualm I seem to have with her ensemble, scratch that, not the only but one of two, first one, "Change the shoes, please" and the second, do something about the hair besides just pulling it back and tying it. Now that we have seen a change in her apparel, I would love to seem some long overdue change in her hairstyle. If she is pressed for time, she could simply wear it open or put in a chignon. Something, anything besides that atrocious, "killing-me", "feel like chopping it up and putting it in a soup and feeding her" ponytail. (I am glad I took that out, feel much better now:)) |

Some photos from polfoto. I really like the dress she is wearing. She seems to like purple's, but who could blame her.
The little girl is adorable. Polfoto 17-03-2005 Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden , centre, is surrounded by children from Sydney's Swedish community at a function in Sydney Thursday, March 17, 2005. Sydney hosts another princess
March 17, 2005 Crown Princess Victoria smiling for the cameras yesterday. Photo: Reuters First it was Mary and Frederick, then Charles. Now another royal has stopped by - and all in less than a month! Crown Princess Victoria visited Circular Quay yesterday as part of a national tour to enhance cultural and business links between Sweden and Australia. The Scandinavian royal was dressed in a knee-length, yellow silk dress, loosely belted by a waist chain adorned with silver love hearts, with her hair was swept into a pony tail. The princess, who was greeted by the NSW Premier Bob Carr, is in Australia as patron of a month-long celebration dubbed Swedish Sytle in Australia. Her three days of public engagements in Sydney will include a traditional Swedish smorgasbord, lunch with Governor-General Michael Jeffery and a visit to the Electrolux Design Centre. Swedish Style in Australia, is an initiative by the Embassy of Sweden to Australia, in cooperation with the Swedish business community. It aims to inspire further collaboration between the two countries in the fields of design, fashion, environment, music and food. AAP http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/...913673673.html |

Thanks for the photos, Larzen, GrandDuchess, pdas1201, and Danielle. I really like that suit that she wore to the meeting with Bob Carr. The dress from the meeting with the children is good. Perfect for summer. The children are adorable and they really seem to enjoy her and why not! I love the Victoria pose in the yellow dress. The model pose was good too. Thanks for the article, Danielle. This trip continues to be a great success.
" ETW do her job (witch doesnīt include fashion advises...)" I see "ETW" and "witch" nearby. Perhaps a little Freudian slip there, eh? |
