for the godparents to the next swedish heir are pretty obvious i would say.
the scandinavian royal families are going to take part of it, as they are known for their close relashionship and ties, Prince Willem-Alexander, Prince Haakon and Prince Frederik are highly candidates, and Victoria even was godmother of their heirs, so probably yes.
Daniel sister Anne seems to me also a candidate, and finally but not least, the Prince of Asturias, i mean they are very good friends, and Victoria was always besides him on celebrations when they were single.

for other children of Victoria, then i would see they choosing the Crown Prince's wives, Princess Madeleine, Prince Carl-Phillip, etc...

Of course she could choose one of her parents, but it's unlikely she will do that. Usually a godparent belongs to the same generation as the child's parents do.

I find it hard to believe that she'll only have four godparents like her mother, uncle and aunt. I'm pretty sure there will be one from Denmark, one from Norway and one from the Netherlands. Along with Prince Carl Philip and Anna Westling.

I'm going to throw in Crown Princess Mathilde of Belgium as a possibility as Victoria is Princess Eleonore's godmother. I would love to see the ties there closer. Hey, Philippe and Mathilde have 2 eligible young princes for the future Queen LOL!

I dont think they will follow that pattern. At the time of Carl Philips birth, he was the heir to the swedish throne hence Queen Margrethe was chosen for him and not Victoria.

Yes, but Victoria had both Harald and Beatrix, two heirs, both now monarchs, while Carl Philip only got Margrethe.

I'm betting on six godparents, if only because Victoria will want to honor some of her closest CP friends/cousins for her first-born, but not leave out the aunts and uncles.

Haakon, Frederick, Carl Philip, Maxima, Madeleine and Anna.
