Backstreet boys are in Sweden and yesterday Nick and Howie appeared on the tv show "Idol"
This is what they said:
Nick Carter och Howie Dorough lovprisade både finalisterna och Sverige.
– Jag älskar Sverige, det är som ett andra hem för mig, säger Nick Carter till Expressen. Vi i bandet ska förmodligen skaffa ett hus här, vi har talat om det. Människor här är väldigt trevliga. Vi har också haft tur att träffa spännande personer, som kronprinsessan Victoria.

"We´ve been lucky to meet many nice swedes, like crownprincess Victoria" says Nick Carter to Expressen

Obviously Victoria attended an exhibition with her mother, the captions says it was in the Åmells gallery in Stockholm and that this gallery has shown 2 pictures of Rembrandt.
This wasn´t mentioned in the Royal calendar...so it seems it was private. Personally I wouldn´t mind, if Victoria would wear a skirt and boots to official duties as well!

A real Rembrandt for Daniel?! Well, as we know, Victoria is more than thankful that at least one guy dares to date her...so maybe she thinks this is worth a real Rembrandt If Danne would know the painter and would appreciate the present is an other question

Thanks for the lovely pictures, Lena! Great to see that mother and daughter had a little time together like this, I hope they had fun and that they continue to meet for little outings like this every now and then. The painting they went to look at is "Minerva in her study" by Rembrandt - which has been the talk of the town ever since it came to Sweden in September. It hangs at the superb gallery Åmells Konsthandel, which is a good firm owned by Verner Åmell, with an excellent renommé. He managed to get the owner of this unique painting to agree to sell it in Europe (the current owner is from the US) - and in the small country of Sweden! A hughe thing in the cultural world. Anyway, the painting is now being showed at the gallery (throughout October, I think) - and then it will be sold. The starting price is $ 46 million...

46 million Dollar as starting price?! I wonder which people would pay that (well, it´s of course a lot more after the auction). It´s an strange idea, isn´t it. I mean you can only "scan" this picture with your eyes. And when you possess it, you can´t see more than ppl, who have seen it an exhibition, or who own a copy. I hope the painting won´t go to an private owner, who would keep it locked in his house. Then this sum would make even less sense.
The painting:

Lovely photos of Victoria and her mother. Black is a good color on her. Heck, any color is good on her. :)

Thank you Josefine
Yes, nobel am approaching, Im hoping she is has already gotten herself a NEW grown up, elegant dress. I can just imagine Victoia, "Oh, its december and I dont have a dress!!! Hmmm why dont I just wear that incredible childish green lace dress I wore I Denmark and that made it look like I have no neck. Maybe I should also use the four button tiara, that would be original."

Im also fearing since ETW is no longer in the information department that she now has to much time on her hands, and decides to help Victoria find a dress for Nobel...I dont know who is going to help her find a dress IMO not ETW, not Daniel, not Madeleine and I dont want Victoria to dress like Silvia either....

Hoping she has contacted Lars Wahlin if she wants a swedish dress, and I dont think anyone would scream if she got herself an italian or american dress just ones.
