Lots of good photos without watermark at this article of Victoria visiting Smögen in Sotenäs.
For lunch, the crown princess got cod back at a restaurant in Kungshamn and then she visited Fisher Association Nordn where she learned more about their work to improve the environment in the sea.
- It was a great visit. She is incredibly engaged, well-read and interested, says Sixten Söderberg, who is chairman of the association and also was Victorian's table neighbor during lunch.
He hopes that the Crown Princess's commitment can lead to that the situation of the seas is taken more seriously.
- It looks bad when we know what's going on in the ocean and how much it's being wasted. We need to work and take care, says Sixten Söderberg.
And it seemed that the Crown Princess was willing to pass on that message. When she greeted students from Smögen's school shortly thereafter, she said how sad it is with all the plastic that ends up in the sea. But she also praised the work that takes place in Sotenäs.
- More should come here and listen to what you can.
In addition to school students, other curious Sotenäs children had gathered to get a glimpse of the Crown Princess.
- It's a sensation that our crown princess is here, that means a lot, says Rut-Marie Andersson.
- It's fun that the municipality of Sotenäs will be noticed even outside the tourist season, Ing-Marie Artursson says.
Another who was pleased with the meeting was the Deputy Mayor Mats Abrahamsson.
- I'm amazed at how nice, easy and open she is to everyone. It's gratifying to see, he says, and tells us that the Crown Princess was very curious.
- She has asked questions about everything from dredges to plastic in the ocean. She seems genuinely interested in the sea and environment.
Even the Crown Princess herself seemed pleased with the visit to Sotenäs and she even took some pictures on the dock before she went home.
- It has been very exciting, she concluded.

Royal meeting on wreck construction
HRH Crown Princess Victoria was on March 7 in Sotenäs municipality. In the morning, she visited Sotenäs Symbios Center and Aqua Symbios and after lunch Fisher Association Norden in Smögen. There, President Sixten Söderberg told about how they work to secure fish stocks and to get a cleaner sea.
The final point of the Crown Princess's program was Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, and it was about the remediation of environmentally hazardous wrecks in Swedish waters. Frida Åberg, investigator at the Marine Environment Administration Unit, and former colleague Christer Larsson, told about the wrecking of the wreck Thetis.
Following a brief presentation within the Fisher Association's premises, they continued with the vessel "Fatboy".
- It was a very successful day. First, we showed films from the remediation of Thetis. Then we went by boat to Hållö, outside Smögen, where the underwater robot (ROV) was released into the sea. The Crown Princess tried to control the ROV and, among other things, saw life on the seabed, says Frida Åberg.
- It was unclear at last if the strict winter cold would prevent us from bringing the Crown Princess to the sea. But the weather has slammed over the past few days and it became a fantastic winter day at sea. The Crown Princess was very well-informed and interested in issues related to environmentally hazardous wrecks, she had many questions to us.

"On Wednesday, our environmental manager Lars received the honor of meeting Crown Princess Victoria and telling about our marine products, our work with MSC and vulnerability, and about the project to exploit fishes that become over in our production to biogas, which then becomes for renewable energy to us. Why was the crown princess involved in this, may you think? She is one of 16 ambassadors whose task is to promote the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2030, in various ways. In the role of ambassador, the Crown Princess will follow especially the goals of water and health. Exciting we think!"

Victoria met today Wallenberg Academy Fellows Jessica Körning Ljungberg, Anna Dreber Almenberg and Lisa Hultman at the Royal Palace. They are researchers supported by Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. Since the program started in 2012, 174 young researchers have become Wallenberg Academy Fellows.

Umeå University told about the meeting at their website:
Today Tuesday is Jessica Körning Ljungberg, Associate Professor of Psychology at Umeå University, one of three researchers visiting Crown Princess Victoria at Royal Palace.
Jessica Körning Ljungberg conducts a research study on whether a mentally active life, for example speaking multiple languages, or vocational choice positively affects older people's memory. She thinks that one reason why she was chosen as one of three researchers may be that the subject interests the Crown Princess.
- Her family is multi-lingual, and she is interested in training, so I can imagine it may be the case.
The three researchers will present their research for thirty minutes each, and then talk to the Crown Princess about the conditions for female researchers today. They have been encouraged to have an open dialogue with the Crown Princess about the personal experience of being a female researcher in a career.
- I feel honored to be chosen, and very happy to meet the Crown Princess. I want to speak about that "Against this background, how should we think about the elderly care?". We believe that what's important for a better aging is to keep on going and activate the brain; meet people, dare to learn new things - to live a rich life. Such a meeting can open doors for the future. There is a chance to influence.
The meeting with the Crown Princess takes place at today at. 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contributing researchers are, apart from Jessica Körning Ljungberg, Anna Dreber Almenberg from Stockholm School of Economics and Lisa Hultman from Uppsala University.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden Attends 'Call of Water' Event

Crown Princess Victoria attends a WaterAid event in Stockholm _ Daily Mail Online

On Thursday, World Water Day was celebrated throughout the world - among other things, to highlight the importance of clean water for human life.
Crown Princess Victoria celebrated the day in the company of, among others, top diplomat Jan Eliasson and Wateraid Ethiopian country manager Bethlehem Mengistu.
And actor Sofia Helin, perhaps best known for her role as Saga Norén in "Bron". A less unknown role she has is the ambassador of the non-profit organization Wateraid, in which she participated in a panel discussion on Thursday.
- Water is something we take in Sweden for granted. We do not think how dependent we are on water, and what asset we have for water, she says after the panel call.
Sofia Helin tells how important it was for her to use her celebrity for something important.
- You can talk about peace and everything possible, but people do not have a toilet or water - you will not be very peaceful. You get pissed off! And sick.
Sofia Helin is ambassador to Wateraid, and the evening of honor was also the patron of the organization - Crown Princess Victoria - in place.
- I think I've played for her sometime earlier, but otherwise it was the first time we met. It was very nice. The Crown Princess is very committed to these questions and incredibly knowledgeable, says Sofia Helin, who, after the panel interview, had a private meeting with amongst others the Crown Princess.
- I am very grateful that we have a royal family in Sweden which is engaged in this important issue.

Sysav about the visit at a press release. Sysav (Sydskånes avfallsaktiebolag/South Scania Waste Company) receives, recycles and treats waste from households and industries in southern Skåne.
The City of Malmö was the first municipality in Sweden to sign on Agenda 2030 (UN's global sustainable development goals) and among others because of this HRH The Crown Princess today visited Malmö. The visit to Sysav began with an introduction to Sysav's mission and CEO Peter Engström told about the work to help create the world's most sustainable region.
The Crown Princess also listened to "Sopermannen", Environmental pedagogue, Rustan Nilsson, known from SVT's Sommarlov. He told more about the educational environmental work, that is, how Sysav teaches sustainability in practice to schoolchildren, and how Sysav works to raise awareness about sustainability as a global issue. She also learned more about the sorting of household waste and the challenges that exist.
After the lecture, the Crown Princess received a guided tour of Sysav's activities, including a bus tour at Spillepeng and a display of the waste-power plant.

About the visit to Drivkraft
Crown Princess Victoria asked curious questions about Driving Power
In how many places you work? How many participants are there? Can you receive all those who need help with their homework? Who are volunteers? How do you reach them? How do you want to grow? What do you need more?
Curiosity was great when an inquisitive crown princess visited Möllevångsskolan in Malmö. Victoria wants to know everything about the Drivkraft help organization.
Drivkraft is supported by the Crown Princess Couple's Foundation. The Foundation donates SEK four million annually to youth projects aimed at promoting good health and counteracting exclusion.
At Möllevångsskolan, Jessica Grundström and Principal Andreas Katsanikos gave the Crown Princess a thorough review of Drivkraft's work.
- We have 30 students at each homework reading session. In total, there may be 40, sometimes only 5-10 students, says Jessica Grundström.
A driving force for students is that those who improve the study results can get summer jobs at the real estate companies that sponsor the business.
The Crown Princess asks if Jessica Grundström has used many of her friends to get mentors for students and parents. She asks that isn't it "quite a lot of time" the mentors give. And she assumes that the mentors are good at finding activities with students and parents.
- But it's important that you as an organization direct your activities, she points out.
When she asks how Drivkraft can change, Jessica Grundström tells that many schools and municipalities want to take part in the business.
- We want to grow. Many want to join. But it requires more volunteers.

Today we have had the great pleasure of receiving Crown Princess Victoria at one of our schools where we were told about Drivkraft's work. In addition to meeting the principal and partners at Möllevångsskolan, the Crown Princess also met a number of our students and their mentors as well as students from our homework. An interesting and committed conversation with many laughs and touching stories gives us a wonderful friday feeling!

I love Victoria and think she will be an excellent queen, but her clothing choices just keep getting worse and worse IMO. This suit makes my eyes hurt. But hey, at least it's a color, I'm so tired of seeing royals and soon-to-be royals dressed in black this spring.

On Tuesday Victoria attends Tobias Foundation's 25th anniversary celebrations and seminar at the Lund University.

Crown Princess Victoria honors the memory of Tobias
As the Tobias Foundation's patron, Crown Princess Victoria has an important and significant mission.
On Tuesday she travels to Lund to honor her former schoolmate Tobias Storch, who died on a severe blood disease.
When Tobias Storch was only 13, he was diagnosed a severe blood disease (aplastic anemia).
In order for Tobias to survive, his parents had to find a donation of stem cells. They searched - but in vain. Only 17 years old, 30 December 1991, Tobias died in the disease. He studied in Enskilda Gymnasiet in Stockholm, same school with Victoria.
The year after Tobias' death, his parents Marcus and Gunilla Storch founded the important Tobias Foundation. They did it to support other victims. Thanks to their significant work, 800 patients have - until now - been able to get new bone marrow. The majority are children and young people. For many of them, this has meant a new opportunity back to life.
- It is amazing that we have made possible many transplants and lives. We are very proud that this is the Crown Princess's first patronage, she has been with us for 25 years and really been there, says Marcus Storch.
- The crown princess attends gladly as she is the patron of the Foundation. The Crown Princess feels that the Foundation is doing an important job, said Margareta Thorgren.
The Crown Princess has followed very closely that life-threatening illness can actually be treated. About a year ago, spring last year, her aunt - Princess Christina - passed a stem cell transplant, in the fight against blood cancer. Then there was a donor in the family.

Victoria attended this evening at a dinner made of wasted food at Restaurant ReTaste in Stockholm.
Paul Svensson, acclaimed chef at Fotografiska, is behind ReTaste, a new pop-up restaurant initiative rescuing lost taste experiences. Where rescued raw materials that otherwise would have been wastage become culinary delights.
Svensson works at ReTaste two nights a week creating a menu from food that would otherwise be wasted. The restaurant serves a five course menu including non-alcoholic beverages. All raw material they process are from stores and would have been a waste.

I'm sure that Victoria had a lot to talk about with Paul Svensson. As an advocate of UN Sustainable Development Goals this restaurant concept must have been very interesting for her.

The Tobias Foundation was founded by the Storch family in connection with Tobias Storch's death in an anemia disease in 1991. The foundation aims to support research on stem cell transplants, as well as diseases that can be treated with stem cell transplantation. The foundation has also established a Swedish registry, the Tobias Register, over the bone marrow donors. So far, approximately 800 patients, most of them children and young people, have received new bone marrow from the registry. The Crown Princess is the Tobias Foundation's patron."

The Crown Princess's visit aroused curiosity
It was whispered and talked among the students at Lux, and it proved to be true that Crown Princess Victoria was visiting the building on Tuesday.
Black SÄPO cars standing outside the entrance. Security guards stationed at the lounge. Photographers and amateur photographers with cameras and mobile phones at the highest level. It was noticed that Crown Princess Victoria was visiting Lux on Tuesday.
The purpose of the Crown Princess's university visit was to attend a seminar on the occasion of the Tobias Foundation's 25th anniversary. It is a foundation whose purpose is to support stem cell transplant research and has the Crown Princess as its patron.
Laura Eskelinen and Anna Hattunen from Finland are studying development studies at Lund University and, like many others, have noticed the presence of the Crown Princess at the University today.
- We have not seen her, but there are very many here talking about it and taking photos, said Laura Eskelinen.
The two students sit on a bench outside Lux near the black Säpobilarna who have parked outside the building. They themselves do not feel any further eagerness to get a glimpse of the Crown Princess.
- If she had come out, it would have been nice to see her, but we have a lecture that will start soon, says Anna Hattunen.

I wonder what prompted Crown Princess Victoria to visit this establishment and why it is necessary to rescue lost taste experiences through dishes made of waste.

The food is made of perfectly good products that would've been thrown away because the packaging was damaged or the date had expired. Food waste in the Western world is a big problem both environmentally and also because at the same time some throw away food there are many people starving all over the world.

Thanks for providing additional information!:flowers::flowers::flowers:
I read about various points on the matter "Is "sell/buy by ..." a good indicator of freshness/quality?". Some countries started campaigns to limit tossing dried goods (e.g., beans or boxed) into rubbish bins.

Victoria attends on 16th May at the Sea and Water Forum, which this year focuses on the Baltic Sea. It is held in Eriksbergshallen in Gothenburg.
- We will especially highlight the benefits of our seas and provide concrete examples of what is being done locally and globally to address problems such as eutrophication, fish deaths and environmental pollution in the Baltic Sea, which often originate from land, says Jakob Granit, Director General of Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management.
- The Crown Princess is deeply committed to and proficient in marine and water issues and we are very pleased that she comes to the Sea and Water Forum, says Jakob Granit.
