Victoria visited parts of Armed Forces' Special Operations Task Group last week.
The Crown Princess participated in the exercise activities, received information about the function of the special operations and talked to employees.
Special Operations Task Group has high availability with specially selected personnel with great operational experience. They can work in environments that are physically, mentally and politically more risky than what can normally be accepted for regular groups. The special task groups can also appear in inaccessible areas with high climatic and medical threats.

Here Victoria visits secret Special Operations Task Group
Crown Princess Victoria recently visited one of the most secretive things we have in the Swedish defence: Armed Forces' Special Operations Task Group
Among other things, she got to try to participate in "explosive intrusions" - and to greet the dogs.
What did the Crown Princess think of the visit? The pictures speak for themselves.
The Swedish Special Operations Task Group operate in the most dangerous and most difficult missions around the world.
Their work is not only dangerous physically, but also mentally. Finding out detailed information about their work is difficult, but our Crown Princess got to make a visit to them somewhere in Sweden.
Crown Princess Victoria is seen in the picture - as usual - with great respect and curiosity take part of the information she receives from those who share it with her.
No faces on the soldiers in place are on the pictures, something that tells clearly about how secret this part of the defence activity is.

Today we paid attention to the World Water Day together with WaterAid's patron Crown Princess Victoria, and Stockholm City's Vice Mayor of Environment and Climate, Katarina Luhr.
The Crown Princess, Katarina and WaterAid's Secretary General Cecilia Chatterjee-Martinsen carried water in the Haga park to highlight why access to clean water is so important for women's rights.
Today, 844 million people in the world lack access to clean water, and when there is no water in the immediate area, it is almost always women's responsibility to bring home water to the family. It is a job that can take several hours each day, which means that women do not have time to work and the girls jump out of school.

The Crown Princess paid attention to the World Water Day
On Friday, March 22, the Crown Princess visited Henriksdal's treatment plant and Brunnsviken to pay attention to international Water Day.
As an ambassador for the UN's global sustainable development goals and patron for Wateraid, the Crown Princess has a great commitment to issues related to water. Friday's visit began at Henriksdal's treatment plant.
The visit began with the Crown Princess and Stockholm City's Vice Mayor of Environment and Climate Katarina Luhr, receiving information on how Stockholm Vatten och Avfall works on the planning and expansion of Stockholm's future wastewater treatment. Thereafter they got a tour of the sewage treatment plant that cleans the wastewater by mechanical, chemical and biological methods before being released into the Baltic Sea. Stefan Rosengren, Head of Unit, also showed a new cleaning technique using membrane cassettes. The new technology means that capacity is doubled, nitrogen emissions are reduced and a considerably cleaner waste water can be discharged.
Brunnsviken
Later in the morning, the Crown Princess and Katarina Luhr visited Brunnsviken. There, Cecilia Chatterjee-Martinsen, Secretary General of Wateraid Sweden informed about the water situation in the world. To illustrate that many people in the world have to find and collect water themselves, the Crown Princess and Katarina Luhr got to try to carry heavy tubs filled with water.

At finnish Iltalehti
When Victoria visited Stockholm Vatten och Avfall's wastewater treatment plant last Friday, she met also staff from finnish Power Mining Oy, a rock construction company, which is a subcontractor at Henriksdal's wastewater treatment plant.
Victoria followed on the spot the worker's workday on World Water Day, and also posed with the workers.
According to Toni Tikkanen, a partner of Power Mining Oy, the moment with the crown princess was enjoyable.
- It was Stockholm Vatten's construction site. There was a World Water Day on Friday and Stockholm Vatten organized a visit to Victoria. As a YIT subcontractor, we are making a new technology tunnel there.
The workers had invented a unique way to delight the princess.
- Victoria came to look at the tunnel and we asked if we could name our drill jumbo to Victoria. It has the habit of being the name of a woman, and we had not yet named our drill jumbo which we acquired at the end of last year.
According to Tikkanen, Victoria was interested in their work. She also spoke about the little prince Oscar.
- She mentioned that her own son would certainly be interested in our machines. She was a really nice person. She asked about our work and working on the machine. In the end Victoria said Thank You in finnish (kiitos), he says.

Our dearest guest, her highness, the Crown Princess of Sweden, Victoria.
She was impressed by the technologies which are used and going to be used at #Henriksdal and #Sickla water treatment plant. We were happy to show off for the royalty.
I remember when I was a child, my dad asked me whom I wanted to be when I will be an adult.
My answer was: I want to be the Princess
My dad: Yuliya, but I am not the King...
Silence
Me: So astronaut is more realistic?
My dad: Yes!
Since than I started to collect the NASA's posters, downloaded their app and followed NASA news.
But we will inherit Victoria's rubber boots. So I can walk in them as the Princess of the Tunnels

Joint seminar and policy dialogue on climate action and the SDGs
Stockholm Environment Institute and the New Zealand Embassy in Sweden are proud to host a very special guest, Ms Helen Clark, on her visit to Sweden. Ms Clark was the Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1998 to 2008 and was the first woman to lead the United Nations Development Programme between 2009 and 2017.
On 1 April, Ms Helen Clark and Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation Peter Eriksson will participate in a joint seminar and policy dialogue on raising the level of ambition on climate action and how these efforts can go hand-in-hand with implementing the Sustainable Development Goals.
