Video from the visit at the news, starts at 1.30. The minister was asked whose idea was that he came together with Victoria and Daniel, theirs or his, and he said that he and Daniel have talked about it for some time and they had just find a day of their calendars. The Fagersta municipal commissioner said that he has spoken with Daniel before and knows that they are interested about things in Fagersta and that feels inspiring.

When Victoria and Daniel visited Fagersta, they got a present: a photo collage of the Crown princess Victoria gate in the evening lights. Victoria inaugurated the gate in 1995, and the evening lighting to the gate was a wedding gift to Victoria and Daniel.

Victoria and Daniel gave on Monday (unannounced at the calendar) an audience to Lisa, 12 years from Falun, and Lennar, 17 years from Delsbo, through the Foundation MinStoraDag (MyBigDay). Lisa's wish was to meet Prince Daniel, when she found out that they are distant relatives.
Lennar, originally from Uzbekistan, wanted to thank for being able to come to Sweden and get help with medical care.
Victoria and Daniel received Lisa and Lennar with their respective families in Princess Sibylla's apartment at the Royal Palace.

Madeleine is the patron of the Foundation MinStoraDag.
This Lisa, who has cancer, has her own blog and she writes that Monday was her best day in ages. She got to drive in a limousine, and met also Estelle.

I love that the Swedish royals (usually Victoria) always give attention to these types of remembrances and this memorial day in particular. Do the other royals in the EU not go to these type of events or is there just no publicity of it?

I only know that CP Philippe attended a ceremony in the Brussels synagogue to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.

According to court's official calendar, Victoria and Daniel should have attended at the Nordic World Ski Championships only on Tuesday and Wednesday, but they arrived with Estelle to Val di Fiemme already on yesterday evening.
Victoria and Daniel met the silver medalists, Emil Jönsson and Marcus Hellner.
- I talked about football with Daniel, between Årsunda and Ockelbo, said Jönsson.
- There were heated discussions, said Hellner
According to them the royals could also have been able to form a nice duo in the tracks. In that case, it would split the hand.
- I think Victoria would sprint home in the end, said Hellner.
Why?
