On Tuesday Victoria and Daniel met also Gunnar Strömmer from the Centre for Justice at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. Strömmer led the group who did the Inquiry of the Swedish Citizenship last year. The inquiry clarified the meaning of Swedish citizenship, citizenship ceremonies for new Swedish citizens, better opportunities for children and young people to obtain Swedish citizenship and about an opportunity for people who have a command of the Swedish language to obtain Swedish citizenship after a shorter time (language bonus).

On Thursday Victoria and Daniel were in Uppsala.

They participated in an informal lunch seminar at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research in Uppsala. Victoria is an alumni of the Department and this was an opportunity to inform her and Prince Daniel on recent activities at the Department and to discuss issues and developments around the world

Victoria and Daniel met Olaf Scholz, the Mayor of Hamburg, today at the Royal Palace. Victoria and Daniel met Mayor Scholz for the first time on their visit to Germany in January.

The Mayor told to Bild that the visit was very straightforward, and personal. A very nice and curious couple. Themes of discussion were labor based migration of Romanians and Bulgarians and the European elections on Sunday. That Scholz was received at all, is a great honor. Reason: Sweden considers Hamburg not a city, but as a state.
Queen Silvia had also wanted to greet mayor Scholz personally, but when she saw the large crowd of photographers and TV-cameras, she turned around. Statement by the Swedish protocol officers: The Queen was not prepared for an official photo shoot, wanted just "casual" meet mayor Scholz.

Maybe this should have been put to Victoria's and Daniel's current events, since it is an official meeting at the court website. Victoria, Daniel and Estelle met members from FUB's local association Pärlan in Sandviken. FUB is The Swedish National Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability, an advocacy organisation working to enable children, young persons and adults with an intellectual disability to lead a good life. Crown Princess Victoria Fund supported financially their visit to Öland and Solliden.

Victoria and Daniel attended today at the delivery of the prize "International Swede of the Year" awarded by the Society for expatriate Swedes. The prize was given to Martin Lorentzon and Daniel Ek, the founders of Spotify. Martin Lorentzon was at the event to get the prize. He is also one of the experts in Prince Daniel's Fellowship program. In connection to the prize ceremony there was a lunch, in which Victoria and Daniel attended.

Victoria and Daniel attend today at celebrations to mark the 1,000th anniversary of Skara Diocese in Skara. Skara is at Victoria's duchy Västergötland.
Victoria inaugurates at 11.00 with bishop emeritus Lars-Göran Lönnermark an exhibition "Tusen år i kyrkans spår" (A thousand years of the Church's track) at Västergötlands Museum.

At 12.00 Victoria and Daniel attend at the commemorative church service, with orchestra and choirs, as well as many swedish and international guests. The preacher is Archbishop Antje Jackelén and celebrant bishop Åke Bonnier.

From the court website, the day ended with a lunch at Stadshotellet. Victoria had bishop Åke Bonnier beside her at the table and Daniel archbishop Antje Jackelen. Bishop Bonnier and archbishop Jackelen were both priests at Victoria's and Daniel's wedding.

Victoria and Daniel at the seminar "Never Mind the Gap", at SUP46 (Start Up People of Sweden). The seminar's focus is how the start-up IT companies in Stockholm and London can collaborate and make them even better and more generally to growth, innovation and the new economy in Europe. The seminar was organized by the British Embassy and SUP46, and ambassador Paul Johnston welcomed Victoria and Daniel to the seminar.

The governor hosted a lunch at the residence.

After the lunch they arrived to IKSU, where they got a guided tour and thereafter visited the Sports Medicine Laboratory. The reporter says that they made a lot of questions at the laboratory, it is obvious that they were very interested in what they were told.

- Victoria and Daniel. Biggest you can get, laughs Benjamin Dahlberg, who managed to convince the Crown Princess Couple to selfies during their visit to Umeå.
Benjamin Dahlberg, 14, goes on Hanna School and in the morning they heard that Victoria and Daniel were coming near the school. Benjamin and his two buddies Jonathan Larsson, 15, and Christopher Svedin, 15, took the chance on their break to meet the royals.
After Victoria and Daniel had been in the sculpture park they greeted the people. Benjamin, Jonathan and Christopher stood patiently and waited, and when Victoria came they took their chance:
- I asked if it was okay to take a picture with her. She just laughed. Even Daniel thought it was fun, says Jonathan.
The result was that all three got the selfie that they had previously only dreamed of:
- Yes, it is heavy, says Jonathan. Glad they were so nice.

- Both of them. Incredibly kind and took the time.

Thanks for all the links and pictures!! Victoria really looks good in that shade of bluish purple too. Must have been cold and a bit windy, as that material looks like a thick weave and Victoria's hair is wee bit fly away looking.

If it's anything like here though, can't blame her for wanting to be warm. :)

09.45 Victoria and Daniel arrive to Medvind's premises in Glimåkra and are welcomed by officials.Even kindergarten children and employees of Medvind will be on hand to hand over the flowers to Victoria and Daniel.
There will be a tour of the premises.
Non-profit organization and the Economic Society Medvind was founded in 1997 with a primary focus on warehouse and distribution management for other companies. Medvind currently has 20 employees, of which 15 are permanent employees, as well as a number of job seekers in temporary placements.
11.35 Victoria and Daniel arrive to Wanås Gods.
Wanås Gods AB conducts forestry and agriculture, hunting and wildlife management and property management. Forest land on the estate has been managed according to sustainable principles in more than 100 years, and in 1999 the forests certified in accordance with FSC. Agriculture and animal husbandry at Wanås Gods areconducted ecological and controlled by KRAV.
12.30 A lunch with speech by Uno Johansson. Patric Åberg and Anita B Smith give gifts and contractor Frida Svensson talks about how it is to be young entrepreneur in the municipality.
13.40 Victoria and Daniel visit Wanås Konst (Wanås Art)
Wanås is a place where art, nature, and history meet. Wanås Arts produces, presents, and communicates contemporary art to both the initiated and the novice. International contemporary art with a focus on site-specific installations has been shown here since 1987. Every year Nordic and international artists are invited to create art in the Park. Today the Park hosts over 50 permanent works, and over 4,000 children participate in our art-based educational activities every year.
14.50 Victoria and Daniel arrive to Nedanbäcks Gård.
Ingrid and Per-Åke Persson welcome them and offer a tour of the farm where they show off their business. There will be coffee, tea, fruit and cake at Nedanbäck.

Ingrid Persson from Nedanbäck told that she got the information that Victoria and Daniel's program had changed and they can't come to Nedanbäck, at nine in the morning. She was of course disappointed, but she was at the lunch with Victoria and Daniel, and gave a can of honey as a gift to Estelle to them.

Victoria, Daniel and Estelle got jewellery as a gift in Östra Göinge. Pia Lindberg makes jewellery mostly of diabase and silver. At her blog she tells in swedish and english about the jewellery and lunch with Victoria and Daniel. The jewellery at the photo aren't the gifts.
