Then the prince just laughhed, until he found a pair of leather pants. And he took the hanger and turned to Crown Princess Victoria and Swedish Ambassador in Italy, Robert Rydberg.

Everyone in the store laughed - Minister Anna Ekström, who was in the shop, said:
- They really suit you, Robert!

- Sometimes you need to go outside the box.
Crown Princess Victoria added:
- Yes, right, outside the comfort zone!
But some leather pants on our Swedish ambassador in Italy will probably have to wait.

During the visit, the Crown Princess couple and Minister Ekström made many questions to Anna Serner about how it was doing business in Italy.

Today Victoria and Daniel talked with Expressen's new royal reporter Elias Giertz (who started when Johan T Lindwall resigned to go to Svensk Damtidning).
- One becomes extremely proud when visiting a Swedish company which is so genuinely Swedish! Then we don't talk only about the safety aspect Volvo is associated with, but also the great responsibility that they take on sustainability, says Crown Princess Victoria.
Afterwards, Crown Princess Victoria received two mini versions of a truck - an early Christmas present to Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.
The visit to Volvo was one of the last items on the program during the Crown Princess Couple's visit to Italy.
- It has been a very varied program these days. There has been much focus on health issues, a lot of focus on the Swedish economy. We have also, during our visit to FAO, talked about a great challenge in terms of the world population's livelihood. How we can reduce poverty, reduce hunger and how we will be able to produce enough food, says Victoria.
What has been the best on the trip?
- I think it is extremely important to travel and to experience not only the country but also bring out the Swedish message.
Prince Daniel has the same thoughts as Crown Princess Victoria.

The program for the Italy trip ended at lunchtime on Saturday, over a lunch at a Swedish restaurant. Victoria and Daniel got a taste of Swedish food and learned about food culture in Italy at Björk Swedish Brasserie.
- It was very good. They have really managed to conduct and refine Swedish flavors, says Crown Princess Victoria after finishing lunch.
They visited, in addition to Björk, also Volvo and Research Hospital San Raffaele. The hospital has surgical equipment supplied by the Swedish company Getinge.
Prince Daniel asked many questions during the visit and seemed happy afterwards:
- It was very interesting to hear about their experiences. They shared information very generously, and we tried to bring the Swedish perspective.
During the visit, they also met children at the hospital. Crown Princess Victoria brought gifts to children in the form of puzzles and two Pippi dolls.
And the kids were not slow to give back.
- Have you made a Christmas card? To me? Thank you very much, said Crown Princess Victoria when one of the kids gave a decorated paper card to her.
After the visit, many of the hospital staff wanted to take pictures with our Swedish Crown Princess, which she happily lined up on.

Pelle Agorelius from Hällefors is the man behind the drink Saxhyttegubbens blueberries 100 percent, which, incidentally, is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and is also involved in the restaurant Björk in Milan. Visit to the Chamber of Deputies and the Bridgettines
The program began with a visit to the Chamber of Deputies for talks with President Laura Boldrini, where current topics such as the situation of refugees, gender equality, and environmental and climate issues were discussed. The bilateral talk was followed by a display of women's hall "Sala delle Donne" which President Boldrini inaugurated this spring in honor of the first Italian women to hold political office. The idea came after President Boldrini's visit in the Swedish Parliament earlier this year.
The Crown Princess couple were also welcomed by Mother Tekla and Mother Fabia in St. Birgitta's house, where Saint Birgitta lived until her death in 1373. The gift was handed over to Mother Tekla, who recently left her position as General Abbess of the Bridgettines. The Crown Princess couple also visited St. Birgitta's room and the crown princess put flowers on her grave.

Football for the disabled and Lucia Reception
The delegation visited football club AS Roma's project for children with disabilities. Football club's director general Mauro Baldissoni and CEO Umberto Gandini received and presented the project "Calcio Insieme" (football together), which aims to give children and young people with disabilities the opportunity to play football, get exercise and reduce stress. The Crown Princess and the ambassador gave speeches and this was followed by a Lucia procession with high school students from the Nordic music high school in Stockholm.

Archaeology and current research
The second day began with a visit to the Swedish Institute in Rome, the base for the Swedish archaeological excavations and scientific activities in Italy. The driving force for the institute, founded in 1925, was Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf, the Crown Princess's grandfather. Director Kristian Göransson presented current research and showed the extensive research library with over 60,000 volumes and digging diaries from Gustaf VI Adolf. An Italian high school class showed up an exhibition of the former king's excavations in central Italy, where the photos were taken by Swedish photographer Jan Mark compiled with excerpts from private collections, the city blished municipal archives, Swedish Institute's archives, and the Italian State Central Library.

Visit to the UN agency FAO meeting with the Director-General Graziano da Silva's speech at the High Level Seminar
The delegation ended their stay in Rome at the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation. In a brief bilateral meeting with FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva was discussed about FAO's work on global sustainability goals, women's and girls' role in economic development and rural development, as well as Sweden's involvement in the matter.
The Crown Princess, as ambassador for the UN global sustainable development goals, spoke at the seminar Step It Up Together with Rural Women to End Hunger and Poverty. The seminar was organized to draw attention to women's crucial role in efforts to achieve the UN's global sustainability with special focus on eradicating hunger and reducing poverty in the world.
In her speech the Crown Princess, among other things, said that the estimates from the FAO show that if women had the same opportunities and access to resources as men, food production could increase by 20-30%, and 100 to 150 million fewer people would suffer from hunger and malnutrition.

Swedish fashion and Lucia Celebration
The delegation traveled to Milan and visited the concept store Frip, a distributor of Swedish clothing brands. The store's owner Anna Stener presented the shop and told how it is to sell Swedish fashion in Italy.
In the evening was the Swedish-Italian Chamber of Commerce Assosvezia's annual Lucia Reception, where Crown Princess couple met Milan's deputy mayor and the education commissioner Anna Scavuzzo and discussed education issues. Visit to the research hospital
The final day began with a visit to the Research Hospital San Raffaele for a presentation of the latest medical research and for a meeting with hospital director Nicola Bedin.
