Obviously it was planned since the reporter in TV4 knew already before the christening started that Estelle would have some role at the christening.
It was also heartwarming to see Estelle go to her grandma Ewa, being already perhaps a little tired to the ceremony. Oscar is a real cutie and reminds of Estelle at the same age.

Oh, "Vilar glad i din famn", and Elin Rombo singing. It was so beaufiful, I could listen that over and over again.

Yes. Just like Haakon at Estelle's christening.

Yes they did

I noticed that the speaker John Chrispinsson said that "Prince Wilhelms crown" was the ranking crown placed inside the church.

According to the royal court website it was the much older Duke Fredrik Adolfs crown...

The military uniforms the men are wearing, the rank substantive or honorary?

The Daily Fail called Victoria's family order, "The brooch is her personal property, a gift she received from TRH Princess Lilian and Prince Bertil."

What a lovely ceremony! I was a little worried about the fuss the children could make, but it seems it all went rather smoothly. I loved every bit of iti And Oscar! He is the carbon copy of his sister at that age! So cute!

Well, I think the couple chose the people they are most closed to... I think that the scandinavian royals have all a very special relationship and I'm sure Victoria and Daniel wanted for their son godparents he will be able to see and interact the most during his life.

I noticed that too and was also struck by how, as he gets older, Nicolas resembles Leonore.

Yes. Our languages are very similar and we usually understand each other without having to switch to english

The King and Carl Philip are ofcourse wearing their uniforms from the military.

The uniforms worn by many high ranking men from the staff at the royal court isn't really military but connected to their position at the royal court.
