Yes, I´ve watched it...and also on a video-tape. I think rhetorical it was very good for an 18-year old girl...fluent and clear to understand. Maybe it was a little bit short, but Victoria isn´t a politician, so there isn´t much more, what she could have/should have said.
You can also see, that she was very nervous (and now as I know, that she has felt bad already half a year before, I feel sorry for her and always think of that, when I watch the video) and after that you can really see the easement in her face.

Default Victoria's speech

It was very cool to be able to hear what the royals sound like, thank you for sharing.

One thing I noticed is is that Victoria was the only one that did not cry at her chritening. I just thought that was interesting.

Was CP's 18th birthday like his sisters'? It's hard to find anything on it.

It was really splendid to see that little video of the CP's coming of age ceremony. The Royal Hall is quite imposing, and the Silver Throne is of course an extremely impressive object. One noitces however that as the King actually sat in it for his Oath-Taking, he did not sit in it for the Crown Prnicess's ceremony. Is it now considered "too much" for the King to actually use the Throne; or is it perhaps not the appropriate event to use it ?

The Hall of State can be quite impressive at these occasions, yes - it's a pity we don't get so see more of these grand ceremonies and stuff. About the Throne - I don't think it has been used since the King became King. Personally, I think it's a pity really, because it would bring back some of the old pomp that used to be around the King and his Court. But I don't know why it's not used anymore, my guess would be that the King doesn't find it very modern and that it's "outdated" (his motto being "For Sweden - with the Times").

I think it was a very formal occasion where a suit wouldn´t be "good" enough. This must be because she is the crown princess. Madeleine wore a suit on her 18th birthday and so did Carl Philip

Wonderful pics, Josefine - thanks for posting them!

I attach a pic of the Hall of State, which you asked about. It's hard to explain where it's situated, I think the place you go in via is called Slottsbacken - and it is just to the left when you go in through that gate, and then you walk up one stairs.
