Charles & Camilla, for flaunting their affair, marrying & then expecting everyone to be happy for them.
Prince Joachim, I'm sure he's already regreting his divorce.
Prince Philip/Princess Anne - both stubborn and hard headed
Prince Edward - for his arrogance and following Prince William around with a camera I honestly don't know how he got someone as good as Sophie.
Prince Bernhard, father of Queen Beatrix - for fathering two children outside of his marraige.
King Henry VIII - for chopping the heads of his wives. If only he knew that male sperm decides the sex of a baby. He should have chopped his own head off!!

I also find Princess Martha Louise annoying.
I read of a scandal in royalty magazine that occured years ago.
Something about her having an affair with a married man and that marraige eventually ending in divorce. Not Cool!

Princess Caroline of Monaco and Hannover
Prince Victor Emmanuel of Italy
Princess Mette Marit of Norway (I wouldn't say she was annoying but I am not impressed with her in anyway)
Princess Diana (Used to be a huge supporter, but not I see she was not that great of a person and did some very damaging, childish, crazy things. Yes, she was a great charity worker.)

For me there isn't a Royal who is particularly annoying. But I don't like too much Prince Ernst of Hannover, Princess Michael of Kent, Prince Harry and Italian ex-royals. I'm still uncertain about Camilla.

Princess Mary - I think wittykitty was so right about her.
Prince of Wales - Even though I blame him and his new wife for destroying two marriages and not putting their children first, I think Charles getting married was the right thing to do. But I just don't like him.
Princess Michael - I wish she would stop her comments.
Prince Joachim and Prince Ernst of Hannover - No comment needed.

I am still uncertained about the Duchess of Cornwall and Crown Princess Maxima.

For me, the most annoying royal is Letizia. There is something about her that rubs me the wrong way. I think it's weird that she and Felipe married so early and that they chose to marry a week (!) after the Danish CP wedding. There is something very attention-seeking about her that annoys me. Further, it annoys me that she is such a boring dresses and that people still call her stylish. I mean, she only wears the same suit in different colours. For me that is not stylish.



Maxima sort of annoys me too, but I can't really say why.

Letizia had no saying about the wedding date. It was widely reported at the time that the King himself had chosen the date, feeling that it would make it easier for all the Royal Houses expected to attend the events to make their plans in a week's time.

So, if you think this was annoying, blame the King and not Letizia.

Attention seeking? Letizia? I guess we're not talking about the same person. If you are referring to the amount of pictures and events she's attended since (and before!) becoming the princess of Asturias and the amount of pictures that have been of her, your assumption of it is going the wrong way.

Spain's monarchy is a very fragile institution and the Royal Family need to prove themselves useful endlessly. Given Letizia is a new member of the family, she needs to prove what she's worth. This is not being attention seeking in my opinion.

Furthermore, it isn't Letizia's fault the amount of photographers that want to take pictures of her. What would you suggest her to do? Flip them off? That would raise so much bad comments about her as well so, I guess she's fine the way she is.

If Letizia wanted attention only, she could have leaked her romance with Felipe to her colleagues at TVE and she would be famous worldwide (as Eva, Gigi and many others became after the rumours about them being dating Felipe surfaced)

Although being a Crown Princess doesn't qualify in the category of a 9 to 5 job, it is her job. She's not a model, she isn't in the catwalk, she's a princess, I repeat, from a very fragile monarchy. What would Spaniards think if she went out and about in her almost daily duties sporting a new designer outfit every time? After all, its their money that supports the royal family. I know I wouldn't be happy...

Letizia is a clever woman, she's worked on TV and there she's learned what suits her and what doesn't, that's why she has the very same outfits in the same colors. Besides, she's doing wonders for Spanish designers. I bet you had never heard of Felipe Varela, Adolfo Domínguez or Miguel Palacios before Letizia. And, as you, most people around the world didn't.

I don't see Letizia doing photoshoots or being interviewed by famous magazines. And that my friend, authorized by the royal family or not, is what I would call attention seeking.

Attention seeking? I think it's Mary who is attention-seeking, my dear. Photoshoots posing like a model and interviews to magazines. That's what I call attention-seeking.

I used to think that Princess Anne was annoying but I don't any more. She's a hard working royal and is hardly ever in the limelight. Someone mentioned that Princess Letizia seeks attention. I don't think so. The photographers seem to love her and she does photograph so well:p .

Well, I guess I have nothing to offer in this thread. Prince Charles used to annoy me, too, but he doesn't anymore. I'm hard put to think of any royal that annoys me. I guess I'm getting soft in my old age .

MC of Kent: I have to defend her! This whole new-york story is stupid. She was in a top class restaurant with some friends and was minding her own business. her table neighbours were a bunch of noisy rappers who were behaving like they were the center of the world. She politely asked them to lower the volume but they actually got even more excited. She decided to go to another restaurant. Her dinning mate told her that at this hour of the night they would only find a place in a Siberian restaurant. Then she said to her dinning mate and certainly not to her neighbours: "At this stage I'll be happy to be back to the colonies" (she was brought in Mozambique). And the day after she is on the cover of mags for having reportedly said to a group of Black guests to go back to the colonies. Brilliant! That's how you turn someone into a racist!
Don't get me wrong, I do not really like her (she's snob, grand and talks too much) but racist is a strong accusation, and she's not (her daughter even go out with an Indian guy, and she likes him very much, how racist is that?)

Diana: She was certainly wrong to make everything public but even if she had not, her boys would have suffer. They saw her crying and depressed, and did C&C took in consideration the boys' feeling when they resumed their affair? A divorce was inevitable and the boys"s would have suffer anyway. What she was supposed to do? Stay married with cheating Charles and shut up for her Kidd's sake? Well that a bit too much I think!
