What does Prince Andrew do? Try this, from www.royal,uk,gov:

Most recently, and the organisation to which the Duke devotes most time, is The Outward Bound Trust (1998). He became the Chairman of Trustees in succession to The Duke of Edinburgh in 1999. Outward Bound aims to inspire young people to fulfil their potential through challenging outdoor activities and to instil qualities of leadership in young people .

In 2004 His Royal Highness carried out some 581 engagements in the UK and overseas.

THE DUKE OF YORK'S ROLE WITH UK TRADE & INVESTMENT
After leaving the Royal Navy in 2001, The Duke of York took up a new role as the UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.

In this role The Duke of York undertakes a wide range of official activities, including encouraging British companies to become involved in international trade, selling British goods and services overseas, and the attraction and retention of inward investment to protect British jobs.

The Duke is not paid for his trade and investment work. His Royal Highness continues his Royal duties in support of Her Majesty The Queen, his work with the numerous organisations of which he is Patron, and the charities he supports, including Outward Bound.

The Duke of York now undertakes 250 trade and investment-related engagements annually within the UK, and at least five overseas trade-related visits each year.

Ah, you're right, I should've done my 'homework' on Andrew! I didn't know he is right up there with the ever hard-working Princess Royal in terms of numbers of engagements! Kudo's to Andrew! I guess he needs to increase the PR on his engagements a bit, try to get 'Hello' to cover him more often for example. His efforts really seem way too underreported on.

I think magazines arent that interested in seemingly boring middle-aged princes, no matter what PR-stunts he tries.

Really! IMO Caroline have definitely brought her children up in a royal way. I think Caroline wants her children to succeed the throne after Albert.

And it is her sister Stephanie who is not bringing her children up in a royal environment. :)

I'll have to add Madeline to the list, I find her quite irritating in that she often seems incredibly bored by her official duties yet seems prepared to accept all the perks it brings her.

Woah he's cheated on her? on the queen? atleast from rumors I assume. Would anyone like to fill me in on this?
Prince Phillip probably is racist. Princess Michael Of Kent is so annoying!

Am I the only, who doesn't find any royal annoying? But of course, I know more about dead royals than about the living ones.

Nope, I'm there with you. I don't think I find any royals really annoying. Sure, some people with royal connections, like Mette-Marit's dad, can be fairly annoying, but most of the time I figure that whatever I hear or see is just a distortion of reality from the media.

I am with you as well. Sometimes I may find certain things, acts of Royals irritating and annoying but I honestly don't find any Royal annoying. Maybe because i tend to see mainly good in people. But there you go.

I absolutely do not - nor could not - find any royal to be annoying because they are arguably the most entertaining and eccentric celebrities alive.

It might be an idea to keep the topic of eating disorders out of the "Most Annoying Royal" thread.

thanks.

One I find most annoying is Princess Alexandra, for her betrayal to the Queen, her cousin....

The rest on very good at entertaining one.Even the dead ones IMO

I find most of the royals bearable - some we can laugh at, others we salute and admire. They are a different group of people, some are born into the system and in all seriousness don't know our reality and others married into the system - they take with them the common folks reality but as times goes on it starts to fade. No fault of theirs. They do their bit for their respective country.

But if there's one royal that i find pretty annoying and can't in all fairness be objective about - It's Prince Ernest - the husband of Pss Caroline. Oh Boy - he's the pits!

Really? I love Prince Ernst ... regardless of what is said about him in the press I can't imagine the angelic Caroline marrying or staying with a contemptable man. Reading about his antics makes me genuinely laugh!
