I think Louis is a real supporter of AS Monaco. This season is abysmal but he keeps coming to Stade Louis II, despite the poor results. AS Monaco used to play in the top of Ligue 1. Even Thierry Henry could not get the club back on track. After a few months Thierry Henry is already fired... Good for Louis that he keeps supporting his club.

Louis has made internships at the AS Monaco and since his graduation in Sports Management he also works for the AS Monaco, so it seems it's both a passion and an professional interest ?

Louis has been appointed Assistant to the Vice President of AS Monaco Vadim Vasilyev it was announced on February 4.

Vadim Vasilyev released the following statement:

"Louis has AS Monaco anchored deep inside him. He also has a strong desire to lead the club one day. That's why I decided to help him move on this path by allowing him to evolve with me, closer. With time and work, he will be able to perfect his knowledge of the world of football, especially in the sports field".

That's a big step for Louis. Does he also have the competences to one day lead the club or mainly the connections?

I think a degree in Sports Management is a sound basis. The increase in work experience may help and yes, of course, the connections - especially the one familial connection - are crucial, there's no denying it..

Thanks. Had forgotten about his degree in Sports Management but that indeed looks as if he was serious about his career in that area. Glad to see that he did his part!
 
Good move for Louis, nice fit with his degree in sports management. They plan to settle in Monaco then. I imagine he will also be more involved and helping P Albert out from time to time at events.

Marie has given an interview to German magazine Bunte and revealed that the wedding will take place on the last weekend of July - July 27/28:

"We are getting married at Monaco Cathedral, the wedding will take place on the last weekend of July", "I like to organize my wedding myself, we started the preparations just after Louis asked for my hand in marriage".

That's quite possible. And as to the couple's openess and their relaxed dealing with the press, I can imagine that they'll agree for photos being taking outside the church and that they may sell photos of the wedding to the press. We'll see! ?
