The Queen's stamps even rate a mention in the Daily Telegraph in Australia.

A handout photograph obtained 18 April 2006 shows a portrait of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II by artist Jemma Phipps. The painting was unveiled to mark the Monarch's 80th birthday, and captures her in one of her Ascot outfits, complete with matching hat. The Queen will celebrate her 80th birthday on Friday 21st April.

What event would other royals be attending? The service at St. Paul's Cathedral? Or will they all be at Windsor?

Those who qualified for their gilt-embossed invitations have at least one thing in common with each other and their hostess - all were born on 21 April 1926 - on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II."
