That would be her aquamarines she's wearing, by the looks of things.

I expect President Bush was just glad to be out of his penguin suit and into his black-tie getup.:D

Oh, I see. Thanks, that means I'll stop typing on the search engines Queen Mary Queen Elizabeth Aquamarines because I was really getting nowhere

My time is up too, I'll be back tomorrow.

I think the Aguamarines look stunning on her! They don't wash out her coloring like I've seen in some photos of her in rubies. While I'm not overly fond of the stones, I do think the Auquamarines are one of her best parures.

I hadn't noticed the resemblence to Queen Mary before but I can see a little bit of it now.

I agree. I love the aquamarines on her, although I am not a fan of the tiara. The evening dress she wore to the return dinner was stunning on her.

I thought the Queen dressed exceedingly well for this trip. She looked fabulous, she looked regal;this trip was quite a success!:)

I second that. She was absolutely regal in her dress. However, she sometimes seemed to be "loaded" down with clothing on, IMO.:)

First former ladies come to White house and visit Queen Elizabeth? Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush,Lady Bird Johnson, Betty Ford, Rosalynn Carter on White house tonight?? Photo on former first ladies?

Isn't Lady Bird Johnson quite ill? As for Betty Ford, I was suprised not to see her there.

Wonder if they make one more visit here or will the Next Be Charles III

Betty Ford is not in the best of health;she was operated on for an undisclosed condition earlier this year. Lady Bird Johnson is in very fragile health.I wasnot surprised that these two former first ladies were not there.

The Queen looked so happy and relaxed in some of the pictures posted from the dinner.Nancy Reagan had the grave misfortune of being escorted by Dick Cheney;he strikes me as a very disagreeable man...just my opinion.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth's dress sense

Britain's Queen Elizabeth's dress sense has been criticised by a New York journalist during her recent state visit to the US.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth's dress sense has been criticised by a New York journalist during her recent state visit to the US. New York Post columnist Cindy Adams launched a scathing attack on the 81-year-old monarch's choice of attire for her week-long tour.

Adams wrote: 'Forget the hats, shoes, hairdo, wardrobe, armpit-length gloves and schlepping that stupid, black, long-strap, hanging handbag that must have her bus tokens, mad money, cellphone and keys to the kingdom, and we won't even discuss the bad bra.

Either is possible. The Queen Mother probably made several "final visits" to places over a few decades.

Prince Phillip learns about space toilets

Prince Phillip learns about space toilets

WASHINGTON, May. 10 (UPI) -- The use of toilets in space was explained to Britain's Prince Phillip after a tour of space facilities in the United States prompted him to ask about them.

It was explained that in space the toilets use airflow, since water flushes would have a few unsatisfying drawbacks in zero gravity, the BBC News Magazine reported Thursday.

Thanks you on informations first former ladies: Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton.!!!
Nancy Reagan see out beautiful and happy visit to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

I enjoyed the Queen's visit. I was annoyed at the "reports" on Fox News because they kept saying stupid things like "What does she know about horses?" They can't understand why Americans would feel admiration for QEII. I believe she is a wonderful person.

This is an insult to Her Majesty. A simple NY journalist can not criticize, neither understand the royal protocol.....this simply made him a fool.

What does Fox News know? They clearly don't do their homework as I thought even a rookie reporter would be able to find out that HM has been not only studying form, but combining breeding lines to produce her own champions on and off the track, for many years! .

fox news is the worst place to get your news, avoid it like the plague, even if you agree with their biases it's just a bad source of news because they dont get their facts right. just a little research would have revealed the queen's passion for horses.

Another terrible place to get your news. I just dont understand why people read it, they give it out for free by my job---i never take it--its worse than a tabloid-- the article itself is really ridiculous and not reflective of the press coverage of the trip or how people felt about it--most people either saw it with some interest or didnt really care very much, others of us were thrilled to have HM in the same time zone. The trip was a huge success for HM because ppl turned out to see her everywhere and she's to be honest an 81yr old lady without the glamour associated to the young celebs we are obsessed with and yet look thousands of ppl turned out to see her, the derby had one of its highest attendance in history because of HM, and there was loads of press coverage. there was a flurry of articles on her life, royal etiquette, and her clothes. and 99% of it was respectful. I cant think of any other head of state or politician visiting the united states who would receive such a reception in this country.

The whole article is nasty sounding and quite disrespectful. I really feel most of today's fashion is really quite depressing looking IMO. The whole urban, sloppy, ripped and unkept look to me should have been the article topic for this journalist and not the Queen's clothing which was very regal and flattering. Even though some of us wouldn't want to wear the constant hats and gloves, she does. Her may feel her arms may not be very attractive to look at, because of her age, and doesn't want to criticizm that she gets with the fashion she wears now.

Her current wardrobe is also very distinctive in a crowd of grey suits, as I found out at Jamestown. A 5'4" turquoise hat is still always more visible than a 6'4" suit.

Well a simple NY journalist CAN criticize but it would be worthwhile for sasid journalist to note that Elizabeth II has dressed in the same style for years - back to when she first visited the White House in 1976.

Cindy Adams is a good reporter and has been around for decades but where has she been all these years if she doesn't know the Queen's inimitable style?

Another example of sloppy reporting.

I wonder how he thinks an 81-year-old lady should be dressing anyway.
