At Christmas time 2011 he had a stent put in and the advice was not to shoot as that could dislodge the stent. It was hard for him as he always shoots on Boxing Day and for the month of January at Sandringham, along with August and September at Balmoral (so for three months a year he used to go shooting) and he has had to give up the entertainment he used to enjoy doing for 25% of the year.

The Queen is losing her Press Secretary, Ailsa Anderson who is going to become the chief spokesperson for @ABCJustin.

Speaking about Ailsa Anderson @ABCJustin says"I am absolutely delighted..she has chosen to use her great skills in the service of the Church

[You might recognise Ailsa Anderson as the lady who posted the official announcement of Prince George's birth outside Buckingham Palace]

Prince Philip is back in charge at Balmoral and king of the barbecue | Royal | News | Daily Express

The 92-year-old Duke of Edinburgh cooked a barbecue for New Zealand Prime Minister John Key and his family and other guests at the Royal Family's Highland retreat last weekend.
Philip, who has lined up a programme of official royal engagements for the autumn after weeks of recuperating from his operation, takes pride in his culinary skills at the family gatherings at Balmoral.

I had to look this up. In British English the word "rude" means hearty or vigorous. In American English "rude" means impolite or bad-mannered. So given the headline and your location the word rude could have applied to the DOE in either context (given some of his remarks way in the past). All this being said, I'm very happy to see him out and about again and in rude health!

Rude also means impolite and bad-mannered in British English.
