Hey, she wasn't wearing a hat at the arrival! It's very unsual.

Thanks for all the pictures, I especially like the one of HM looking through the airplane window. How cool.:flowers:

That's because it was at night. Hats are daytime wear.

I've just hear on TV that this "Lithuania's trip" cost about E600.000 Lithuania's side.

HM looks nice:flowers:

This was at nighttime, as a rule hats never appear after 6 p.m.:)

LOL, ElisaR can consider herself doubly well-informed now. :)

Great Tiara! HM looks lovely! Is that the First Lady in the Red? I love her dress as well!

What an amazing woman! Still going strong at 80 :) God Save the Queen! (and her heirs) Long may she (and eventually they) reign! and my hats also off to the Duke by her side all those many Decades may they be together forever.

Does anyone know where we can find The Queen's Speech at the State Nauqet

The Queen considers her arrival at night as formal but unofficial so The Queen do not wear a hat similiar to when The Queen attends Chelsea Flower Show.Hats are worn at night too but it depends on the function or engagement attended by The Queen. For an example,The Queen wears hat when attending the closing of the Commonwealth Games.

The queen looks great, its good to see her eye looks better, and im surprised her dress is actually quite nice-for her---i usually dont like her evening dresses.
