The photos of the lunch were great! It was a lovely surprise to see Louise there, I wasn't expecting her to attend for some reason. No wonder she found it daunting - it's her first time, and there were thousands of people there. I think most people would feel nervous doing something like that for the first time. But, I thought she handled it very well and it's nice to see her appearing at more royal events now. I thought that the woman who spoke to her's comment about Louise's presence being nice especially in the weather was sweet. I also like the group photo taken by Andrew, I wish there was a better, close up version of it. It's cute that Louise is holding the hamper!

Andrew showed his softer side.
If you search Getty for Andrew and Autumn Phillips, there are lovely photos of him cracking up on the balcony at something she said.

90th Birthday Celebrations of Queen Elizabeth: May and June 2016

I thought it was strange that Charles and Camilla were in Gloucestershire and everybody else was in London. If other royals were in different locations around the country, it would make more sense. However, since most of the royals will have to be at Windsor for Garter Day, I can see why you would not spread them around. What's the odds of C&C using the Royal helicopter faux outrage storage coming tomorrow?

According to the FE only The Queen, Philip, Edward and Sophie will be attending the Garter tomorrow. Anne has an engagement in London on Monday (no reason why she can't do both of course, unless they are on at the same time ...)

I suspect that the FE is as useless as it normally is - after all it never put up the Church Service for Friday in advance.

The FE is garbage. All the BRF Knights of Gartner will be at Windsor. Plus Sophie, Camilla and the return of Kate to Garter Day most likely.

And yet not questioning why William, Andrew or Charles aren't attending? They are all members of the order. And I think this report is a load of.... we will see them all there.

Anne does have an engagement in London but it is an evening event. She is being honored with the Longine ladies award, which honors women for their contributions in the equestrian world. Princess Haya won it last year.

You and me both. Heck, I still lack those abilities now and I'm nowhere near this young lady's age. Major props to Lady Louise for her poise and amazing social skills in her first walk-about.

Albert shows up once in a blue moon. Sometimes he attends the flower show.

I thought Louise did a great job for a 12 year old and it points up how much the walkabout is *not* easy-peasy. It's clearly a skill that has to be learned.

Camilla had a commitment to her charity.
Prince Charles joined his wife.
If she had attended her event and Charles had joined the family in London then the small minds would have been wagging their big tongues.
If Camilla missed her event then the tongues would have wagged.

Yes, I think it's clear that the relationship between C&C and the Queen is strong enough that Charles and Camilla can meet their standing commitments without it being an issue. Charles and Camilla have the support of the Queen and Prince Phillip and that the reverse is true.

Plus, there were a *lot* of royals out to shake hands... the people there certainly seemed satisfied.

My first reaction on hearing that Charles and Camilla were attending their own street party was favorable as it made a statement that HM, The Queen is being celebrated all over the UK and not only in London.

It also happened to be one of Camilla's patronages that encourages the communities to get together and get to know and communicate with their neighbors around them. I thought it quite touching that Camilla brought a home made cake to the occasion such as any one of the people attending might do.

This past weekend has really lifted my spirits and reaffirmed my belief that there is still occasions where all can come together in peace and have a good time and just plain celebrate life. I only wish it was more contagious.

I'd love a photo of the royals on the balcony and who they all were. Actually, I'd like to know which members of the BRF attended any of the weekend festivities.
I didn't recognise all those on the balcony or all who worshipped at St Pauls.
Was the Duchess of Kent celebratng? I didn't see Gary Lewis or David Linley.
Where can I go to see close up pictures and names?

The Queen looked magnificent. Eugenie was a fashion star and I loved Serena Linley's hat. All appeared very joyous.

If anyone was wondering - HM used her new Queenmobile, while William, Kate and Harry used her old Queenmobile from 2002.

I post it here since it was written because of her 90th Birthday:

I would also like to know who was on the balcony as some of the Kent side were unfamiliar.

David Linley didn't seem to be at any of the events. Serena and the children were at the Thanksgiving service but I can't remember seeing them on the balcony after Trooping. They weren't in the group photo Andrew was organising at the lunch.

Katherine Kent has not been at any of the events.

Gary and Davina Lewis were at the Thanksgiving service but don't seem to have been at the other events.
