She resembles the Princess of Asturias a bit.

It seems that his family got to like her!

Miguel Urdangarin is already a marine biologist; and this July, between the 24th and 26th, he graduated with a degree.

Juan Urdangarin settled in the British capital after returning from volunteering. He works in work related to cooperation after studying at Essex.
After finishing high school, the young man chose to spend a sabbatical year, without studying, focused on cooperation. After that period, he enrolled at the University of Essex for a BA in International Relations, which he completed.
And since then he has lived in various places until finally settling in London.

It's wonderful to see hiw Juan has steadily been working in this field. Volunteering in Cambodya and India as well local organizations in Spain, studying International Relations (although international development studies might even have been a better fit) and now apparently working in the fild of international/decelopment cooperation (humaitarian aid).

:previous: Very impressive! Surely a source of great pride for his family ;)

What immaculate children Cristina and Iñaki have raised. Despite all the drama surrounding their parents, these four young people have demonstrated to be the most graceful and gracious of Queen Sofia's grandchildren. Juan is a serious humanitarian, Pablo is a talented handball player, Miguel is now a Marine biologist. Hopefully Irene will also make something worthy of her life.

I didn't know the Infanta was such a strong believer (a lá Sofía), this was clearly a source of strength for her children. I knew Juan was quite devoted, but seeing Pablo doing the sign of the cross on his mother's forehead was something to behold. You won't see that many 22 year old boys do that in public.

And congratulations to Miguel, I still remember his behaviour at King Konstantinos' funeral. Splendid.
What a source of pride for the family.

:previous: I agree. Despite the turmoil during their growing up years their has never been even a whiff of scandal where the Urdangarin children are concerned.

According to Vanitatis, Irene will study International Hospitality Management at the Hotelschool in Lausanne. However, she didn't have any experience in the hotel business, so recently she secured a two-week internship as receptionist at a hotel to prove she did some work in the hospitality industry.

Apparently, Irene is following in her eldest brother's footsteps: she is volunteering in Cambodia during her gap year.
