I believe she participated again in a show-jumping competition in August 2003. However, now she mostly attends as an observer or award presenter.

According to a recent exclusive interview she did with VG - she hasn't ridden, or been on a horse, in seven years. This is countered by both Mandy's post above, as well as an interview she did in 2004 with NRK where she stated that she hadn't quit entirely, and still had comebacks in the team-class every year. Someone should learn to count, perhaps?

The interview really is very strange, saying she has not sat on a horse for 7 years, I mean every paper had the picture of her falling of the horse when she was in her first trimester with Maud when her pregnancy was anounced. Everyone had picture of her and hea team becomming Norwegian champions. And then why does she say that her kids are to small to ride when you consider the hubaloo she and her husband raised over the pictures of Maud Angelica taking riding classes, and one of the arguments was that this would show where she (Maud) was at a certain time every week
