When Edward and Sophie didn't have the traditional family portrait of their new son and little Louise for their 2007 Christmas card, I thought "how different"...I guess they intend to set new trends quietly for the entire Royal Family. It's just that, to me, Prince Edward is sometimes even more a stickler for following Royal protocol, tradition and etitlements more than his own mother!

Since Viscount Severn has a Godfather who is a Falklands War Veteran is it safe to say Edward became Friends with him through The Duke of York?

Not really Edward knew Alastar before he went to war.

James was born a bit late to be included on Christmas cards. I'm sure they were sent out long before he was born. Beside Sophie had a C-section. I doubt very much she would have been up for a photoshoot right after the birth.
