On her third day in Malawi today, March 15, the Countess of Wessex was in Lilongwe to visit the Lions Sight First Eye Unit at Kamuzu Central Hospital, the Girls Arise for Change project at SOS Children's Village, the Loud Ink Project at The British High Commission and the Mchesi Primary School. She also attended two receptions.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning attended a Service of Dedication on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1, for the Iraq and Afghanistan Memorial. The Earl and Countess of Wessex were present.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and The Countess of Wessex, Chairman, Women in Business (promoting The Duke of Edinburgh's Award), this evening held a Dinner at Windsor Castle.

Court Circular 13th March:
The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh and The Earl of Wessex, today launched The Queen's Baton Relay for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games from the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace.

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, this afternoon attended the Commonwealth Service in Westminster Abbey. The Earl of Wessex was present.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Royal Automobile Club, 89 Pall Mall, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon arrived at Lilongwe International Airport and was received by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malawi (Her Excellency Ms. Holly Tett).

Her Royal Highness later visited the Victim Support Unit at Lilongwe Police Station.

The Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Reception to celebrate Commonwealth Day at the Residence in Lilongwe.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, this afternoon received Mr. Oliver St. Clair Franklin (British Honorary Consul of Philadelphia).

The Earl of Wessex this evening attended the Fifty Fourth Annual Torch Trophy Trust Awards at the British Olympic Association, 60 Charlotte Street, London W1.

The Countess of Wessex, Vice Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, today carried out engagements in Malawi. Her Royal Highness this morning visited Chisuwe Primary School, Traditional Authority of Chulu, Kasungu District.

The Countess of Wessex afterwards visited the village of Salipira, Traditional Authority of Chulu.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch at Chikho Hotel, Kasungu.

The Countess of Wessex later visited Kasungu District Hospital, M18, Kasungu.

Her Royal Highness this evening called upon The President of the Republic of Malawi at State House, Kamuzu Palace, Lilongwe.

The Countess of Wessex was subsequently entertained at a State Dinner given by The President at State House.

The Countess of Wessex afterwards visited Mchesi Primary School in Lilongwe.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Reception given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malawi (Her Excellency Ms. Holly Tett) at the British High Commission in Lolongwe.

The Countess of Wessex later visited the "Girls Arise for Change" project, SOS Children's Village, M1, Area 24, Lilongwe.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the "Loud Ink Project", Kamuzu Institue, Area 17, Lilongwe.

The Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Reception for Malawi Young Leaders given by the British High Commissioner at the Residence in Lilongwe.

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, The Royal Wessex Yeomanry, this morning attended a Live Firing Day at Castlemartin Ranges, Merrion, Pembrokeshire.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, this morning attended a Reception at Bishop Mackenzie International School, Barron Avenue, Lilongwe, Malawi, for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award and opened the new Primary School Hall.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon departed from Lilongwe International Airport for the United Kingdom.

Mt admiration of Sophie and he amazing hard work in support of the Queen is well known again here I think she is lovely but I truly think the gown does nothing at all for her..

Thanks for the links. Sophie does such a good job of looking very interested in the charities places she visits and she is always very good with children and adults with learning difficulties.
