Andrew is in Canada at the moment, he made a visit to the Princess Louise Fusiliers, an army reserve unit in Halifax, but as the short article said, reporters were not allowed to be there as well, so there are no pics..

He's off to Ontario after Halifax to visit another regiment. He's going to be in Canada all week.

Default Duke of York visits city

Duke of York visits city

TRAINS, historic halls and centres of the community - they were all part of a day's work for York's own Royal.
First on the agenda for the Duke of York was unveiling a new £10 million train depot in the city, during a whirlwind visit yesterday.

I enjoyed the video! He knows how to interact with his audience!

And as to 'The Air Miles Andy" conundrum;if he had to travel by car wouldn't these people still complain? And if the Duke of York did not go to these meetings wouldn't they find fault in that?

He could go by train and use biofuel vehicles, he could even use a scheduled flight and biofuel cars. One of his important meetings, is opening a play area in a ecologically sound forest walk, what a waste of taxpayers money to have AMA opening it! Not even someone trying to save areas like this!

I am glad that Yeltsin's funeral had royal representation. I was not expecting even a "lesser" royal like the Duke of Kent to be there, so the Duke of York going was a nice surprise.
