[QUOTE=rmay286;1139398]I'm playing devil's advocate a little bit, but do you think Andrew would want someone who didn't need him? QUOTE]

You might just be on to something rmay286.
From the day he was born his every need has been taken care of, he has never had to fend for himself or do much for himself. His future was always mapped out for him, born into one of the richest families in the world and with a team of servants at his beck n call.
That might be one of the reasons he always does what he can to help Sarah, he mightn't mind the shoe being on the other foot.
Having Sarah need him, and having to worry about Sarah and having to deal with her problems and issues somehow makes him feel like he living in the real world and not in a fantasy land

Prince Andrew supposedly likes golf so that's not boring to him. I'm just curious did he and Sarah ever play golf together or did she ever watch him play golf? Sorry Russo but golf is boring. It tried one time to sit through a round of golf and was bored out of my mind. To each his own as I say.

Couldn't agree more - golf is a good walk spoilt in my opinion.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are actually sitting with my dad on the couch watching golf (my dad is a golf fan). Mostly because golf has something pretty and peaceful about it--the lush looking greens, the blue skies, the slow pace of the game. On the other hand, this is exactly why I'm not surprised many people find it boring.

Don't get me wrong I loved the tme with my father I just did not love the sport of golf.

My dad often suggests golf to his patients as apart part of a heath plan to recovery to his patients because of the walking involved with playing golf. My father is a heart specialist.

I think it's an awesome walk. The courses are gorgeous, the trees and shrubs are planted just so. My late mother and step father have a bench on the 17th tee of their favorite golf course. I spent many a good time chatting and bonding with my parents on the course. I enjoy watching it on TV as well. However, Russo does not play. Mr. RUsso is threatening to make me.
And, of course, Russo has a lovely saucy tale when her father bumped into Arnold Palmer. . .
It would be lovely if PA found a gal who played and enjoyed golf as much as he did.

Yeah, Sarah has watched him play, mainly at golf charity events.

Rex Features - Photographic press agency and picture library, if he plays well he may even get a smooch.

This is why my father-in-law likes golf, too. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to play for a couple of years because of a bad knee.

Maybe Prince Andrew likes golf because it's reasonably private way of socializing. He's good at it.

I do think he can fall for someone who simply loves him for him and won"t complicate his life. So why reduce him to a " Captain Save A Skank" for example Sarah status ? . Is that all he deserves because of whose child he happens to be? Maybe there is something wrong with me but I have always thought that if you truly love someone you won't do anything to truly hurt them. At the moment this man holds a position of what we call in the U.S. a position of "Public Trust". When she tried to sell access to him people asked how much did he know? I think God Gives us the ability to love but he also gives us common sense too. I know my view is unpopular and maybe it's the loud mouth american coming out in me it but it is what it is.

I made a is mistake there . I meant access not acsess. See what happenes when you think faster than you type.

HRH Princess Sonya, there's an easier way to correct a typo rather than making a second post: just click the 'Edit' button. This opens the post allowing you to make any changes.

Aww Golly, I got too excited obviously.. I think they were a great couple, I adored them back in the 80's, remind me of my school years and the mags I read back then.. I even adored Diana & Charles together. Anyway, Prince Andrew is a nice guy, he can make Fergie happy again(hey, he's not even my type),so I guess that's why I wanna see them together again. Ok, I know, I talk too much, I'll stop here. Just tell me: who's pro-Fergie and who's anti-Fergie here?

Its not so much Anti Fergie vs Pro Fergie (although we do have both).

I think most people want Andrew to be happy and if Sarah managed to act with some type of maturity, decorum and didn't do things to embarass herself, her daughters and the House of Windsor...I would hazard a guess that most people would be okay with the two of them getting back together. Of course, there are those who can't move on from the past Sarah antics and the most recent incidents just prove their point and then there are those like me who rooted for Sarah and Andrew to get back together, but realize now that Sarah will never change.

Of course, we are also open to discuss other women who might be The Duchess of York.

I wish both of them Prince Andrew and Sarah happiness. If it is meant to be that they will become a couple again, then so be it. The only ones that can really make that decision is them.

To me they never really stopped being a couple.

All that changed is that they no longer have a piece of paper tying them to each other and I think they are happier without that piece of paper.

The downside is that Sarah can't accompany Andrew when he does things officially but she never really suited that side of his life anyway.
